The guy's a grade A moron. Just try not let it get to you.

Moron used to be a word used in psychological cycles to describe mild intellectual disability.

How dare you write that you ableist scum.

Here we are, everybody's extremely precious, didn't expect anything differing ent.

Calling someone a downer or retard is something that's said day in day out where I'm from, from my friends, to work, to home life and I dare say most of you hear it on a day to day basis.

It's amazing that after a comment like that how many people know a cousin twice removed who's got a friend with a wife who knows someone with Down's syndrome or have even volunteered to help people with learning disabilities.

Everyone needs to get out of their ivory tower and get a grip. I got called a nutter they other day, that remark is just as ableist? Am I crying about it and listing all the people I know who've had mental issues? No, cos I'm not some lefty wanker who cries about what people say on football forums.

Well seeing how prevalent learning disabilities are in society it's not a surprise that you manage to offend people by using such phrases. People with disabilities can access these forums to so it's worth considering who might read your comments as we surely want to encourage everyone to join in.

I don't really care what you say to your mates but I forgive you for your lack of education on the subject. Thanks for removing the comment.

If City sign Tomlin that will be a sign of intent. Hoping to get my Dad to a couple of games next season now I'm off every Saturday.

Honestly didn't think we would have a chance with Tomlin, because of wages, but I'm getting a bit less sceptical. Still find it unlikely though

According to another one of the Twitter things Mousset is expected in England in the next few days. (It wasn't Alan Nixon so presume I can post it) no idea how reliable it was, or if it was a new account with 20 followers or something, just had a screenshot of the tweet in my feed.

You can post rumours from Alan Nixon mate, I said it in jest because SERNWA was insinuating that we as City fans must ignore his word because he's tripe with news regarding Rotherham.

We know what Tomlin wants and we wouldn't be pursuing it if we weren't willing to pay it, I expect him to sign.

I was being a bit tongue in cheek with that, definitely promising noises, but we had that last year. Wasn't Lingard as far down as being spotted at the training ground, but it fell through- bet he regrets that now with his FA Cup medal.

Stockhausen said so, but then he's notorious for chatting shite and ended up backtracking on what he said later in the day.

Ah, I should've known - I've seen a few of your witty comments on OTIB lately, very funny

Haha cheers, think I got more 'likes' in one day than the rest of my OTIB time altogether

Commons has been going soft in the Scottish league for 5 years. The same league a striker who only managed to notch 3 goals for us in league 1 has just finished the season with 21 goals in.

Hate to be the one to tell you this but Kris Commons is twice the player Lee Tomlin would ever be.
I searched his name on Twitter earlier and the general concensus amongst Celtic fans is that it's time for him to move on and he's had his day, hence why he's moving to Rotherham (supposedly).

He was half decent five years ago, he's spent the last few years stagnating in the SPL and will probably end up like Becchio etc did for you, when experienced players come in - you talk them up as if they are still the player that they were, they barely get themselves fit and end up being a waste of a wage.

He was class with us, like a few have mentioned that was a fair few years ago. He's not got any younger, fitter, skinnier and those hammys will stop him playing 1/4 of the season too but at this level he'll still be a top player IMO.

It'd be a coup for Rotherham, considering he's earning 25k+ up north.

He won the scottish player of the year award in 2014.

My man Luke_1884 knows the score.

Oh and Doyley, Best and Kelly were immense in the games they played.

More bollocks from you.

In the SPL for christ sake.

I know he was fantastic for Derby and Stoke (I think it was), but there's a reason he's now going to end up at Rotherham.

Yeah in the SPL but apparently he was only half decent 5 years ago and stagnated in Scotland, despite bein the player of the year 2 years ago and being in Scotland 5 years ago anyway. Just admit you were talking bollocks.

Yeah Stubbs is a mate, Ronny Deila ruined his prime years and Rodgers wants to trim their wage bill. They're the reasons.

So yes, he's stagnated in the last two years, by Celtic fans on Twitter's admission.

I'm not disputing it may well turn out to be a coup for you, but personally I'd much rather a 26 year old Lee Tomlin than a 32 year old Kris Commons.
