Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Bradshaw is a good signing, would have liked him here, but he hasn't played higher than League 1.

I've been saying the same, that's why if we only end up with one of Bradshaw and Gregory, id prefer it to be Gregory.
Simply ss he got 9 in an awful Millwall team when they went down.

Been different bits about the bid on Twitter but from what I know we only made a new bid at teatime yesterday and last time it took em the weekend to reject it, so although they probably will I don't think they have yet.

Any idea whether you'll go in with an improved one?

Could really do with them losing their main striker.

Looks like we'll be resigning Daniel Pudil from Watford any day now which is great news, was solid last season in a defence that equalled our record of clean sheets. Would like to think we will also sign another left back as competition as I don't think Jeremy Helan is good enough for a promotion challenging side, quite disappointed we didn't go in for Jake Bidwell considering the price he went to QPR for.

In other news Jose Semedo has signed a 1 year contract extension, great bloke to have around will lead by example and is going to be a big dressing room influence, not going to play much but he'll be on cheap wages and can do a job if needed. Caolan Lavery has turned down the contract we offered him unsurprisingly, was clearly just to ensure we got a tribunal fee for him. Think he'll be an excellent signing for any club in League One, Coventry looks a likely destination.

According to local journos we've now had two bids rejected for Hanley.

... And as far as outbounds go, Cisse's now left the Club to go to China.

Will you tell Blackburn to accept the bid for Hanley! My team Crewe Alex are due a nice little sell on windfall if he goes!

Dunno what's happened with £1.2m bid yet mate.

Presuming it's rejected, it'll all depends on what happens with Bradshaw, can see us settling for just him if they hold out for more.

O'Dowda left out of Oxford's side today. Coming either to here or Derby.

Bradshaw not playing for Wallsall either and Gregory wants to move back to South Yorkshire, hand it a transfer request lad.

Benneidkt Saller of Mainz scored today for us as we beat Parkgate 7-0 and is going to Poland too. Sassi D'almeida, Ryan Taylor, Chris Konopka, Guillame Francois all played too.

I'd take em all as squad players to be fair.

we're close to a deal to sign isaac hayden on loan from arsenal. was at hull last season, no idea how he did there. would assume this wont affect out pursuit of hanley given the lack of defenders at the club currently.

Agree I thought there were a few decent performances from the trialists and Yates was particularly impressive, it could be his time to shine.

Pity Danny Ward didn't save his hat trick for the season lol.
You would have to go a long way to see a better one, even allowing for the opposition.

Glad the rain stopped, it's Parkgate's only money spinner really and it's usually played in red hot weather.
In the end; I thought it was a decent enough crowd after this morning's big downpours but they must have missed out compared to previous years.

Signed a 5 year permanent deal but he's coming in as a holding midfielder so yeah we're still in the hunt for a centre back. Also Hanley has been pulled from their friendly squad which is interesting.

Two new rumours today;

Anssi Jaakkola - 29 year old Finnish keeper who plays for Ajax Cape Town, formerly of Kilmarnock.
Gaston Campi - 25 year old Argentinian defender at Racing. Rumoured loan with view to buy for around £900k.

Both so random that there is probably something in it. Exciting stuff..

Ekstrand been offered a contract at Leeds and is set to sign there. Will be a decent signing that.

Always wary of players who've done their cruciate but if we can keep him fit he's definitely an upgrade.

Some noise we've matched Rotherham's bid for Bradshaw. He'd likely be behind Vibe and Hogan in the pecking order but I wouldn't say no to having him. Ideally we'd sign someone a bit better to be 1st choice but would take him at the prices being quoted.

Looks like we're getting our loan signings sorted quickly.

Forster-Caskey, loan till January and view to permanent.
Liam Moore for the season.
Ryan Kent and Brad Smith from Liverpool for the season too.

At the risk of this being used against me in the future, we're quite far down the line in terms of having it sorted.

Moore could well be alright for you.

Looked pretty dodgy here in a back three, needs to get his career back on track somewhere though - he'll get the chance to do that at your place.

If he plays alongside Broadfoot they'd compliment each other, Moore's pace would help Broadfoot out and Broadfoot's experience could help Moore fulfill his potential.

Pace? Not sure we're on about the same bloke mate.

He was built relatively big, but not quick. That's not me putting a downer on him, I think he could be a potentially excellent centre back in this division, but he was exposed in a back three here.

Sorry mate but 'pace' is not something I would associate with Liam Moore. If that's what you're expecting, prepare for something else. A decent defender, given games, but definitely not pacey.

That's some of our fans, see anybody under 25 and automatically assume he's pacy.

I thought he was to be fair. If owt he's an upgrade on Richard Wood.

You'll be pleased to know Commons is back as a top priority, apparently we weren't 100% sure on him as he's recovering from an operation but looks like we're up for it now.

Yeah, I would bet on him joining you rather than us (he'd be first choice for example) but just saying I wouldn't be annoyed at all if he chose us.

Brad Smith is on our list for left backs too now we need to replace Bidwell, we've got a good rep with Liverpool and that might swing that decision our way

Lee Gregory has handed in a transfer quest, it seems. I don't think he's quite good enough for the step up. Not delighted we're losing our top scorer but not distraught either considering I would have let him go for very little only a few months ago.
