Massively pleased with Kalas in. Obviously our defence needed massive surgery. We will have two new full backs as well Dennis Odoi from Lokeren and a left back from somewhere. Anyone has to be better than Garbutt who was dire last year. Rumours are its Malone from Cardiff where I know Cardiff fans will be celebrating in the streets about. Jazz Richards is meant to be going to other way which is a right result for us too.

As you keep hearing Kevin McDonald is meant to be being done but will believe it when I see it. Faurlin has been on trial with us - so will see if he see has got it. Did OK in our 5-0 friendly win over at Preston but I suppose everyone must have.

Our best signing appears to be this unknown guy Ayite from Bastia who was a fans favourite and in our first two friendly matches has been unplayable. Brings pace and skill out wide which is just what we need. Aluko in for the same reasons to add some pace to try and complement McCormack I assume. Hopefully Matt Smith or Cauley Woodrow will kick on and take advantage of Dembele leaving.

Expect 4 or 5 more signings, we released a lot of players last year. Thankfully.

He works for HITC doesn't he? When that site first went up every rumour they came up with was bollocks but they certainly get a fair bit right now. They were the first site to announce we had sacked Cotterill, a good hour before anyone else.

In my experience HITC has good sources, but they jump the gun in order to get early stories which causes them to be wrong.

Aston Villa may well be interested in Cunningham, but interest is all it may be despite them reporting it differently.

Not a chance are HITC a good source, like O'Rourke, they get fed crap by agents, re-hash bollocks they've read off forums and try to spread enough shite that occasionally some of the rumours come to fruition.

This summer HITC have said Simon Grayson was set to quit because of our budget, both old firm clubs were after Josh Brownhill, linked Bailey Wright to China, said we're one of the clubs chasing some striker from Dundee, Scunthorpe's goalkeeper, O'Dowda from Oxford, Anthony Stokes (along with 8 other clubs!), some Blackpool youth player....

Wolves, QPR and Blackburn supposedly wanted Cunningham according to them in April as well.

Absolute chancers.

Fernando Amorebieta, the Fulham player, closer to Sporting. The player is very interested in the offer of the joint from Gijón. On loan at Boro some of last season

Glad we didn't stump up the cash for Bradshaw, a fairly expensive gamble and i'm not sure if he'll be any better than Eoin Doyle, who I despise.

Bradshaw chose Barnsley ahead of Rotherham then. Interesting.

£550k the offer apparently.. club have been anally probed. Should be looking for double that for him. Best to pack it absolutely full of add-on clauses and take less cash now. Percentage of sell on, X money after goals, international appearances. Be nice for him to do well and be sold for multiple millions down the line.

How come? Didn't you pay the best part of a million for Stevie May? A young striker with 35 odd goals in 70 appearances is more than worth that compare them both.

Scoring goals in League One compared to the Championship is a different kettle of fish, Eoin Doyle scored 21 goals in 26 games at that level and impressed me more in the games against PNE, than Bradshaw did, yet he was sat on our bench for the majoirty of last season.

I've no problems with his valuation in today's market, I just wouldn't want Preston to pay that for him.

In fairness to Stevie May, I think the price was definitely high but at least he had a full season at this level prior to signing him and scored some goals in quite a low-scoring Sheffield Wednesday team. Who knows what kind of player we will get back after his injury though.

Bradshaw for 550k? Would have hoped ourselves and half the division would have took a gamble on him for that price. Still a good signing for Barnsley.

550k is completely unconfirmed by the way. We supposedly turned down 650k a couple days ago anyway so I am not sure where this 550k figure has come from. Rotherham supposedly had a bid of that price turned down which led to their chairman pulling out when he though the price of Bradshaw was "inflated", so it can't realistically be 550k.

I was going off what I'd seen around Twitter, which isn't a good example. Pretty sure the E+S confirmed that Barnsley bid £350k for him, to which we said absolutely no chance too. Barnsley manager then basically said 'clubs are miles apart' - so I don't realistically see them over doubling their bid + more in a couple of days, if anything they may play on the fact he's handed in a transfer request.

I also don't see Rotherham's chairman ending their interest at 550k either. Has to be more. My guess is 750k.

Hope you are right mate, but don't be surprised if we are having our pants pulled down again for the sake of just getting rid of him.

Barnsley don't spend money, never have done really. I'd be surprised and I think their own fans would if they were to spend £750k after just being promoted.

Didn't Barnsley shell out £500k on Moncur as well?

They spending the John Stones money before it's arrived?

Would have thought Bradshaw in the current market is easily worth 1m+. If he has one good season in this league he's in the £6/7m bracket. If it doesn't pay off you'd probably get close to the resale value on him from a L1 club. Add to the fact he is more than likely to be a Welsh international he seems like a player that could earn a club a decent profit both on and off the pitch.

We did pay £550k for Moncur and I wouldn't be surprised if we are shelling out £750k plus for Bradshaw. Our board stated we had around £4m to improve the squad this summer and I'm more than happy if they take gambles like this instead of going for over the hill, overpaid 'experienced' Championship players. Been there, done that several times and almost always turns out shit.

You've got your big John Stones bounty coming in soon as well? That'll almost be as big as a parachute payment that. Could see you lot really kicking on if your young players gel smoothly.

Really really good keeper, but clearly not in our plans for next year. He's better than the replacement we've brought in in Dan Bentley, but with Bentley being only 22 he's going to develop into a much better keeper over time.

We would have kept Button if he could have agreed a new contract. Think he's hugely underrated, one of the best in the division. His distribution is fantastic. If you give us anything north of £1.5m I think we'd accept it.

The deal with Bradshaw himself was done, we sorted it with his representitives.

The problem is TS talks utter bollocks when it comes to transfer fees and bottled paying Wallsall what they want.
