Also looks like the Yasir Kasim deal isn't going to happen and we've said we had interest in him but wont pursue it.

Also it looks like our Sako replacement will be Michal Zyro from Legia Warsaw. Supposed to be half decent but we'll see.
Supposed to be very good, would be a very good signing that

Rhodes must be 7m plus, you would spend that?

We're keeping our eye on QPR and the fall out from FFP apparently, if there is none we have a supposed open cheque book, and we bid £6m for Rhodes.

How much under FFP were Derby last time? I know they are a club which for a long time haven't spent too much.

I think we would have offered Alex Pearce a very decent deal for his ability, probably close to £10k/week, so for him to join you I can only imagine you've made an offer of much more than that.

Didn't Rhodes sign for £8m?

I hope we're interested in Kasim - he's fantastic.

And in other news - Aden Flint signs a two year contract extension until 2019 :D

He's good but he lets not kid ourselves, he's no Matt Derbyshire

He signed for £8m but they're fucked financially so I assume the bid was to test the waters.

If Sheff Wed spend 6+mill on Jordan Rhodes and Derby spend money on a load of players, I'd like to think we'll spend a bit of money to get Dwight Gayle. QPR have set this stupid benchmark and now lots of teams are going to exploit it.

All these teams spending money can only be bad news for us... Our only chance was if everyone else was restricted in what they could spend. We won't be able to keep up!

We passed it quite easily with last years accounts due to the recent Stadium rebranding etc.

This financial years and the year after will be more interesting because whilst we have increased our income over the past few years by 5+ million our wage bill has also grown.

With the relaxed income input and Mel Morris taking a more prominent roll for us it's not a surprise we're showing intent.

Worried about signing ياسر قاسم from Swindon. He's no Matt Derbyshire.

I look forward to singing "There's only one ياسر قاسم!, one ياسر قاسم! He used to be Shi-ite, but now he's alri-ight!

MK linked with both Yaser Kasim of Swindon and Lucciano Becchio.

I'd be very dissapointed if Kasim went to a club that we should be competing with financially. I think he will go higher.

Old news as pointed out but needs a mention

Sir Leon of Clarke's ambition has taken him beyond the realms of Staffordshire to a much more Northern outpost, to the grand town of Bury.

We wish him luck on what is the 18th transfer of his mesmerizing career.

Wolves being linked with Johann Berg Gudmundsson down here.

I thought he may leave this summer but for a higher level, will seriously question our ambition and potential if we are to sell to a Championship rival.

The rumour is Sigurdarson coming the other way.

Were giving you Bjorn? How much we paying you to take him?

Also were linked with a lot of midfielders, but realistically cant see us getting any of them until we sell a few of our own. Michal Zyro looks like a potential Sako replacement but not sure if we need any more to be honest.

Brizzle City linked with Lee Camp

Would be a smart move. He's now our 3rd keeper and wants games, and he's perfectly good at Championship level. Lost his place last season because of a nasty injury and then never got back in.
