Were giving you Bjorn? How much we paying you to take him?

Also were linked with a lot of midfielders, but realistically cant see us getting any of them until we sell a few of our own. Michal Zyro looks like a potential Sako replacement but not sure if we need any more to be honest.

Haha I hope there's no real truth in it, but it's come from a local journo, not one of these moody Twitter accounts.

Wolves being linked with Johann Berg Gudmundsson down here.

I thought he may leave this summer but for a higher level, will seriously question our ambition and potential if we are to sell to a Championship rival.

The rumour is Sigurdarson coming the other way.

I like Sigurdarson, he'd be a great replacement for Kevin Davies.

I think he was ironically referring to his goal scoring record.
Ah right.
He's the first player I've ever watched who made me turn to a mate and say that "Running around like that he's going to tear himself a new one". Useless on an epic scale. And his name doesn't even fucking rhyme with anything useful.

Not sure what to make of being linked with Lee Camp - or whether to take any notice of it with the 187 keepers we've been linked with over the past week or so.

Use them all. It's a tried and tested formula and a lot cheaper than a bus.

That day was quite a shocker.

I mean, we were bad - but to get absolutely trounced by Wolves that day who had been equally as shit over the seasons was a shocker.

I'd left before the Danns goal went in for us - was a hell of a strike, but I'm glad I didn't wait around to see it.

I stayed the full 90 minutes. Not sure why though, could've been 10-0 easily if Wolves didn't take their foot off the pedal. I did like Danns though, would take him back but he's getting on a bit now

He was one of the only players in that squad with a bit of passion in him - and he was only here for a month.

I remember at Millwall Away that season, he missed an absolute sitter late on when we were losing, and you could see how angry he was upset he was, and he was punching the ground.

It sparked an 'ewwwwwww' and a few whistles from the Millwall fans, but it actually gained my respect for him that he actually gave a toss - not like most of the other wasters in that squad we had.

That was a strange game, we lost about 10 in a row and then somehow scored 4 in 1 half against you guys

I thought everyone tore you apart that season. When they were finished tearing us apart.

For us, only three left of those who started that game. And another two subs. 5 out of 18. A lot has changed for us since then.

We've only got one left who started that day, Bryan. Cunningham is also still with us but must've been injured. Bobby Reid was on our bench but can get nowhere near it now

More stories linking Odubajo with Everton today. Personally don't think he's good enough for them yet, but no doubt a very good prospect!

Was that the game Doyle picked up the ball in his own half? And just ran, ran and ran? We were so bad during that period. That said we are never ever very good against Wolves.

I'd take Camp as a back up!

I was there that day - I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeing, and you bastard got my hopes up about staying up...

Until the inevitable second half slaughtering came from Wolves, as is the standard in our recent competitive fixtures.

Aye - can't make out that he took around it around the whole team on the way, whilst giving it nut-megs and rainbow flicks and all, he ran the length of the pitch without anyone in a 10 metre radius of him - summed up what a pathetic, spineless, useless team we had from front to back.

The funny thing was that at half time Carl Ikeme was so pissed off, he punched the tactics board, broke his hand and was out for the remainder of the season

Was my fault

Anyway it might be easier to have a new thread with a list of teams and confirmed transfers for each club, if anyone can be arsed to maintain it that is. Leave this thread to rumours and such

Anyone who needs a 1st choice goalkeeper, looks like Tomasz Kuszczak will be available as he looks likely to reject our contract offer. Shame as I feel he is the best goalkeeper at the club.

Is he really better than Ikeme? Thought he'd made a couple of fairly costly errors during your run-in. Not a bad keeper at all at this level, in fairness, but has his flaws. Sort of get the feeling he still thinks he's above Championship football due to his years benchwarming for United.

After weeks of barely a sniff of a Brighton-related rumour, we've apparently lodged a couple of £1m+ bids for two separate wingers, Jamie Murphy at Sheffield United and some highly-rated Iranian fella from the Dutch league, wait for it.. Alireza Jahabakhsh, with the latter bid reportedly having been accepted. Nice to see some intent, I guess, and we're in desperate need of some attacking quality. Even if neither comes off, I'm not sure we can possibly do any worse on the recruitment front than the last 2 or 3 windows..

Jamie Murphy's a very good L1 player from the times I've seen him - £1m may be a bit of a game though, much like Sam Baldock.

As for the Ikeme/Kuszczak debate, Ikeme's certainly improved in the recent times I've seen him play - especially from the season where he let that David Davis ball through his legs, where he looked absolutely shot to bits for confidence.

Kuszczak will get a Championship club though I'm pretty sure... cue the rumours of us being interested in him, rising the total to 188 keepers that we've been reportedly 'interested in' this past week.

Clever by Hughton, he knows they want COG so will use him as bait for Murphy.

We've bid for Ben Marshall apparently.

We are after the same Iranian player apparently, but haven't met the valuation yet. He's been mentioned a lot on our forums over the last couple of weeks.
