Update from us. When Ivan Cavalerio signs today, it will end our interest in Chris Martin.

Also Wigan are in pole position to sign Nathan Bryne today from us, they have already signed one of our ex players in Adam Le Fondre.

Our total transfer fees at the moment stands at £0. Though we will have to pay compensation for Egan and Bentley, I wouldn't imagine they'd come to much more than £500k each. Sawyers was free and Elder is a loan.

Rico Henry should join today, £1m rising to £1.5m and there is a sell on fee as well. Very good business for us. Would love to see a couple of wingers as well but Henry might be it!

We've also been linked with Willock on loan from Arsenal, and McGheegan from Luton.

This Sissoko business is even better than I could ever have hoped. He's left France for a Spurs medical at the same time they've had a bid rejected due to it falling short of our valuation.

We've now given them a take it or leave it £30M price tag that can be paid in £6m instalments.

He's shot himself in the foot. He claims he's a CL player, but has never played like one and then when we put a CL price tag on him he claims we're being unfair. If he played like he did for France at any stage over the course of his 3 year stint, he'd have got his move along time ago.

Players don't like actually playing for the stepping stone Club to get their move anymore.

Kaikai is choosing between us and Charlton for a loan deal, and we've supposedly also had a £500k bid accepted for McGheegan from Luton. They've signed Gillead from Newcastle as a replacement so that one should go through.

Well we signed Matt Grimes on loan from Swansea. Played about an hour of our first game and virtually disappeared since. So he's not in our plans and were trying to move on Diagouraga and Murphy today so probably do need a CM.

Fair play to Brentford getting him, he hasn't been quite as good since the SOD reign (see the play-offs and giving awful penalties away vs AFC Wimbledon this year) so his defending needs work. But Smith is correct when he says that he's the best player I've ever seen at his age, lots of potential and I wouldn't be surprised to see him play higher up the pitch. Given he is only 19 and has a play-off campaign, England appearances and has made 42 first team appearances, he should push on and earn us a lovely sell on to a Premier League team one day.
