Jordan Spence on trial with us and playing for the U23's tonight, he's a RB... :conf:

Mick can't be considering moving Chambers to CB can he, surely not? Pigs might fly... :dk:
Spence is quite decent, surprised he hasn't found a club yet. Was one of MK's standouts last year.

Junior Hoilett linked on a free. Can't actually remember him ever playing against us. Would have thought he'd be decent enough though.

So Hoilett signed, we're supposedly looking to bring in Sol Bamba, Marouane Chamakh & Keiron Richardson in time for the Friday game. Funny really considering we don't have a pot to piss in!

Doubt it'll make much difference if they're in for Friday or not. Can't imagine they'll be match fit.

Hoilett is very frustrating. He will always look to cut in. Warnock got him playing well for us so maybe he will again, but QPR fans werent upset that he left. He was on about 50k for us, would not sign a lower league wage with us, left thinking a Premier League team will take him and he has ended up at Cardiff. Clearly money orientated which backfired on him as I would imagine his wages are not high now.

His goes/assists are non existent. I think he got 1 in 10 goals for us and 3 assists all season.

That just means they'll be no different to the rest of the squad!

Hmm so he is basically a right footed version of Craig Noone then. At least it gives us an option, and as you said Warnock could get him putting a shift in. Only on a deal until the end of the season so not a massive gamble either way.

Bamba and Chamakh are in now as well. Warnock must really think fuck all of the options we have up front.

The fortunate thing about having a Mcdonalds outside the ground is it's kept Paddy occupied for the last week! Just wait until he finds the Greggs...

Is Faurlin had not got a new club by now, then Warnock would definitely get him in. He loved him at QPR, as did QPR fans but I think he has a new club now. Taarabt maybe? I dont think he is getting into Benfica B team.

Taarabt we definitely couldn't afford. Him and Whittingham(in his prime) were always 2 players I wanted to see play together for some reason.

Injured at the moment, plus can't rely on him to lead the line at his age and with the lack of game time he has had the last couple of years. By all accounts though he has been decent in the little he has played.

Richardson in now as well. If anyone has any grandparents they want shot of, we'll take em at the Cardiff City retirement home.

That was our tactic in the Premiership. Buy everyone who was good 5 years ago. Went well for us ...

To think people slagged Lloyd Doyley off and then Bristol sign Odemwinge? hahahahaha

I'm not sure when his prime actually was, less than 150 games in his career for a 34 year old, embarrassing.

Only got him while January you reckon he'll be useful in that time? Seems a good signing on paper.
Great signing, was really good here and we could bloody well do with him this season.

Would've happily welcomed him back here, will get you goals.

Looked good for a the first couple of games and then barely got a look in after that. Thought it was quite strange at the time that we wern't using him more.

25th August. I'm still waiting for his thoughts on Rotherham's trip to Oakwell.

Yeah SERNWA hasn't shown his face since he got mugged off about Taylor Moore.

Reaper Odemwingie will certainly do a job still, wasn't outstanding while with us, but certainly wasn't bad by any stretch.
BCFC David I'm pretty sure LJ stopped using Odemwingie once he was certain we wouldn't go down (regardless of whether we had the points to guarantee safety at that point) and then started primarily the players he knew would be here for this season. Tomlin and Matthews being the exceptions to that, but we then pulled out all the stops to get both here for this season anyway.

Supposedly signing Sean Maguire from Cork City on a pre-contract tomorrow, 22yr old who has scored 18 in 30 this season.

Scouts also sent to look at Cork's Kevin O'Connor and Dundalk's Daryl Horgan according to a journo over there.
