Likewise I do not think we were in for Janko either. We've got Chris Gunter who never misses a game as first choice, and Tennai Watson in reserve who has looked very impressive in his brief appearances. We're not going to bring in a player to sit on the bench and push back one of our better academy players.

Janko half-rumours are about as much as we've had so far this Summer. I know our season only finished two weeks ago, but surprisingly quiet. Not expecting a lot of players in though.

Blame it on Clough. He paid £1 million for Trevor Francis and look where Trev is now, eh? Couldn't even get a place in our squad these days. Well not a consistent place, although he'd certainly be in the top three strikers we have.

Brighton fans would disagree, a lot of them are disappointed that he has left.

To be fair any striker who can score on average one goal every 10 games would be classed as our best striker at the moment. How many did our strikers score last season, 3 each or something?

Can't see us forking out £1m on a goalkeeper, Rudd is still pretty unproven above League One level as well...

Looks like our hitlist for the summer is Cummings (done), Mahoney (almost done), Kevin McDonald (can't see it but a lot of rumours it's close), Bidwell and James Tavernier.

Could be happy with that, as well as shifting some deadwood. Expecting a big sale or too. Brereton or Britt will go, not sure which.
