Mansfield 2-1 colchester.

You’ll never a see a more 1 sided game won by 1 goal, absolutely battered them.

9 home wins in a row for the first time since 1973

Jesus we actually won a game. Thankfully Stevenage are by far the worst side we've played, both home and away this season.

I'm sure I've said it a few times lately, but that was as bad as we've been all season - ironically, we should've been 2-0 up and commanding the game. One of those games where I couldn't tell if Hartlepool were any good because we were so bad.

Out of interest, how did our ex oil tanker do on his full debut tonight?

Feel for Orient really. We were poor tonight and despite missing the early one on one, we never looked like scoring again until Diabate added to his ever growing reputation with a massive shithouse winner. Could be a huge extra 2 points, that.

I thought Orient were organised and Pratley marshalled the midfield well but offered little going forward. Looked like a bad injury for Happe…he slipped and his knee went in the opposite direction to the rest of his leg, so just hope it’s not as bad as it looked. The O’s deserved a point but when your luck’s out, it’s well and truly out.

Incredibly dull 0-0 draw between Sutton and Salford tonight. Sutton created a couple of interesting half chances but that was about it.

3 draws in a row at home in the league. Luckily we’ve only got FGR at the weekend….

I'd have to watch the goals back to see if he was at fault, but he seemed one of the only players who kept his composure and did his job.

Lucky 3 points for us. One of the worst attempts I have ever seen from a professional goalkeeper to save a football (for our winner).

Orient had 11 men behind the ball for most of the game.
They kept it tight and will frustrate a lot of teams if they play like that every away game. Their only really chances were on the break, which if they had taken would have completely changed the game.

Looked like a nasty injury for the lad, hope he isn't out too long.

Pleased we got the 3 points after having so much possession.

Comfortable win for Rovers. Second half Swindon’s dangerous balls in and around our box totally dried up, a late goalmouth scramble their biggest threat. Rovers played a more incisive attacking game and deserved the win

Dale will feel a bit disappointed not to get a point from that one. We were not up for until we went behind. Suddenly the tempo changed completely and we were really on it finally. Another day that could just as easily been a defeat. We knew it would hard and they played the highpress very well while getting forward smoothly and at will. For us Jamma was right off his game and the wing backs shepherded out. We gave away possession far too cheaply and looked nothing like league laeders... ...up until we went behind, from then on we dominated and the urgency paid off. Stevens always the most likely to score. Aitchison was lovely and deservedly got the equaluser. I guess you can't be on it all the time. But that was an unlikely three points.

Much better from us tonight, midfield 3 controlled the game. Barrow were truly awful, scored a goal with a great goal from Rooney early on, but they offered nothing else at all, other than couple shaky moments when our keeper flapped at a few crosses.

We had that game wrapped up at half time, it was a case of just easing off in the second half and seeing it out.

Lee finally went with a change of formation from 532 to 433 and we actually looked like a good side again, forward thinking players not afraid to take players on, two great goals from Molyneux who really looks like a player when played in his correct position and NOT upfront. I think the days of Featherstone/Shelton/Holohan as guaranteed starters are over, that midfield trio tonight were excellent.

Killip still scares the life out of me, not at fault for Rooney's wonder strike but I've got no confidence in him at all, petrified whenever a cross comes in.

Barrow were poor first half and looked better second, dunno if that's cos we stepped it down or they stepped it up.

Didn’t really deserve that, both sides cancelled each other out and had similar chances. Drinan never looked like scoring his 1v1.

But Exeter Dominated possession and looked the most likely to score. We’re always in games, but never look like scoring.

Jackett sleep walking into the sack and right now it can’t come soon enough. 1 goal in 8 games and 8 points above the drop zone, our board have well and truly fucked themselves over. Next 6 games are winnable, but we don’t look like scoring.

The former on your last point, happened multiple times this season, we start passing it about nice and all that when we are losing but in reality the oppo let us do that because we've no cutting edge.

I think you've got nowt upfront, you got the balls down both wings easy enough but it seemed to come to nothing, that big lump Holloway doesn't look up to much and the backup man is Luke James, nuff said.

Crap game. We were slightly better but not by much. Draw might have been a fairer result. Ah well, we take them. Onwards and upwards and our autos push continues! Bradford next, for our 5th match against them this season. Let's hope we don't meet in the Play Off semis and it's 7 matches in a season!

Decent game between us and Newport, both teams had really good chances to win it but we managed to take one and hold on for the win. Two 1-0 wins get us right back on track, back into the top 3 and over our little blip. New lads look good but wasted a couple of one on ones, and Telford missed a one on one for County, I say missed the credit has to go to Roberts for the save. 14 clean sheets now for us, terrific defensive record which is really the backbone for our success so far this year. Onto Vale Saturday.

Good early goal from Rovers, since then a couple of speculative efforts while Davison missed a good chance to level for the visitors. Not much in this wouldn’t like to hazard a guess on how it finishes. Referee a bit random too
I would not call hitting the woodwork and shooting wide from twelve yards speculative efforts......

That implies Swindon put lots of dangerous balls into our box in the first half.

Which they didn’t…

We gave Swindon a bit of a tonking tonight, the first time that has really happened this season.

We could have been a couple of goals up after twenty minutes, with Warrington firing wide from the edge of the box and Glatzel hitting the woodwork, in addition to our opener. Swindon came back into the game in the middle of the first half with a lot of midfield possession, but we kept them at arm's length quite comfortably as we have so many times this season.

It seems that at half time Mellon instructed our strikers and midfield to press high when Swindon tried to play out, and we completely suffocated them, forcing them to turn the ball over in bad areas. We had other chances in addition to the goals, with Hemmings hitting the post in addition to his brace.

The partnership of Hemmings and Glatzel is really starting to flourish now, and I thought Lewis Warrington had a great debut in midfield, with an assist and a couple of other exquisite passes.

That was the most complete Tranmere performance of the season. Play like that for the rest of the season and we’ll be promoted. Outstanding to a man and should have been more than 3. Expected a lot more from Swindon tbh but thought we nullified them extremely well.

We’ve got a tough set of fixtures coming up but we’re in great form (Forest Green result aside). I don’t fear anyone at the moment and see the tough games as an opportunity for us to really kick on and put some daylight between us and third spot. But we’re Tranmere Rovers and it’s never ever easy for us.

Oh and fair play to all the Swindon fans that made the journey. To continue applauding in the fifth minute despite conceding a goal was superb. All the best for the remainder of the season.

Agree that we were poor tonight. We seem to struggle against teams who are quite happy to settle for a point, but I thought we were too direct and misplaced too many passes. Not sure whether they were feeling the effects of the game on Saturday. Thought the O number 5 did a really good job on Josh Key, right up until he got injured. Hope he is OK
Be interesting to see what we do on Saturday as I'm not convinced by Kieran Phillips and if Nombe is fit he would start every time for me

Also special mention for the referee who was absolutely fucking shite. Gave absolutely everything to Newport, some honestly baffling decisions. Horrendous performance.

We looked a cut above Carlisle tonight. Knocked it about brilliantly at times, with Wilson at the heart of it. 4 unbeaten now, 7 points out of 9. It looks like we're starting to click again at the right time.

Beat a strong but fairly functional Northampton at the weekend and we're right back in it with 2 or 3 games in hand from those above us. Proctor should be back, Conlon and Gibbo too soon, so virtually a full strength squad at just the right time.

Cooper looked lively and direct when he came on and Hussey looks a class act . A good night!

3 away goals for Crawley and no collapse at the end!

By all accounts it was a good game at Harrogate I'm stuck at work wishing I had a beer to celebrate.
