If I sent you a DVD of the first 45 mins at Blundell Park today you might change your mind.
Our goal sounded pretty decent from Apter ,but conceded almost at once in what appeared sloppy defending.

Our season continues to be cursed. Not pulling up any trees but shading it against an Accy side missing a few and late getting to the ground, then Innis pulls their lad down in the box for a pen whilst standing behind his keeper who's just comfortably caught the ball in. Had the odd chance since but that woke Accy up a bit too. Might get one back but we look light up front still.
Seems a bit too self inflicted to be considered cursed.

Things tend to go against you when you are absolutely shit and run like a complete basket case/circus. If anything, we've cursed ourselves.

We have played a bit better today but pen looked right decision tbh. Let's not kid ourselves, we are exactly where we deserve to be in the table.

Worst 45 minutes of the season and that’s an incredibly low bar to get under. Young now on which means he’s not going anywhere, poor lad.

Let Accy see it out fairly comfortably in the end and they were missing a fair few I believe. Pen did look the right decision, just daft because it was so far behind the actual play.

Toothless really, ended up pretty comfortable for Accy who had a number of players out apparently. I'm struggling to see how we can win enough games to even make a fight of it.

Fair result. Barrow offered no threat but were good defensively and we’ve not done enough with all that possession to win.

How Stephenson hasn’t got a red for that tackle on Jones I’ll never know, one of the worst challenges I’ve seen in ages

A truly disgusting performance from us today, thankfully the bottom 2 never win or I’d be worried based on that performance.

Referee absolutely bottled giving us a penalty in extra time, DKD turned the player was about to shoot in the box and got stopped. It looked stonewall on the video, pathetic.

A great second half with ten men see us get level, then potentially get three points via a penalty, instead Wimbledon go up and nick it instead, football is such a kick in the bollocks at times.

He’s been unreal.

I’m actually surprised he’s not joined in with the wimbledon celebrations, i really am.

Watching it on the dodgy stick and it’s amazing how he can give a straight red from 40 yards out? manage to see someone from the bench and give a 2nd yellow but yet miss a blatant penalty right infront of him right before their goal.

Why bother playing if you don’t get a fair chance.

7th minute of 6 added on too, I’m surprised the referee didn’t join in the celebrations aswell.

I can’t be mad at the players, we did really well and deserved something out the game, but if it’s against you like that what can you do?

I'll have to watch the highlights as I was following on live updates but seems an interesting comment on our threat based off the stats.

Always take a point in a game away from home against a playoff rival. Gained on Mansfield and Crewe but MK Dons have caught up further, and like I said on Tuesday, they were Graham Alexander away from pissing promotion.

We made massive hard work of 10am mansfield. In all honesty we were ok first half but the second half performance was truly awful. Anyway that's football and I will take it. Looking at table I can't see any of the top 7.thst we are likely to replace prior to end of season.

Nigel Clough, DEAD MAN WALKING.

Excellent day of results really, with Barrow and Notts taking points off each other and then Crewe and Mansfield losing. Stockport have won the league anyway so not concerned about them, and I still think MK Dons are too far behind to catch us. Might get Mansfield though if their form continues for much longer!

Fair result at Notts, we were wide open first half and lucky not to be a couple behind before burgling the equaliser. To be fair Maynard tweaked it to make us more solid and we were the only team who looked like winning it second half without creating enough clear cut to say we deserved to. Barrow had no threat at all second half but were very solid and we couldn’t get Nemane and Jones into dangerous positions as much as we normally do.

The tackle on Jones was an absolute disgrace, got away with a yellow because the ref thought it was just a standard ‘stop the counter and take a yellow’, but he’s completely done him. Wild knew as well and immediately subbed him off, might’ve been what we needed to crack the game open but ah well.

Salford did what Salford always do. Fuck all football, hoof it and try to cripple everyone and pray Matt Smith bails them out - and today it worked. Other days it won't. We were poor aside from 5 minutes at the end of the first half, we didn't deserve anything from it, and it was shit to watch. But, if you'd offered me 4 wins out of 5 I'd have taken it. You can't legislate for anything against Salford, so onwards and upwards.

No manager or team can defend against a ref like that.

To me, I'm seeing 2 Mansfield red cards and some shocking discipline going on there. Clough's lost them, lucky to make the playoffs at this rate.

I'm furious with that referee too. Notts really didn't need Dons and MK winning.

Didn't see the game due to a fantastic family day out in the capital but had a feeling Barrow would be party poopers on Maynard's first outing. Not the side you want to come up against in your opener. Disappointing to not win at home as usual but stats suggest we didn't deserve more than a point. Lots of possession but not much testing the keeper.

Expected and almost guaranteed defeat at Field Mill next up, to help Mansfield get back on track and a sticky start for Stuart.

At the other end, another decent result for Sutton and sounds like performance. Colchester win and Bradford and Grimbo lose. Nothing surprising in that lot.

We will be soon. It’s coming. This isn’t just new manager bounce, we’ll match most now. Walsall fans very down about things today because a look at the league table says you should be winning at home if you have anything about you. But our league position currently does not reflect where we are now as a side.

Good win for Rovers steadying the ship before a tricky February. The match stats suggest maybe a tad fortunate, those at the game may be better equipped to assess. A couple more wins will see us secure the primary goal of FL survival.
