How was Devoy? He never really fitted into our team but if you could do a 'Kemp' on him it would be appreciated.!!!
He was OK - nice goal. Looks a bit lightweight. Hopefully improvement to come.

Rumours of a bit of argy bargy in the tunnel plus this
Literally nothing there I'm afraid. Baldy gives a fan a bit of mouth back, that's all, nothing I'd describe as argy bargy

I think we'll win. I don't know why, our recent record at yours is abysmal.

Perfect time to get over that hurdle, No Quinn, Bowery, and probably no Flint either. Plus we have been rubbish for a while, bang out of form etc etc - like I say perfect chance.

Obviously you lot will be bang up for it too, playing against a team in the top three that put four past you last time out on the telly.

Worst 45 minutes of the season and that’s an incredibly low bar to get under. Young now on which means he’s not going anywhere, poor lad.
Happy for you if that was your worst half of the season as Bradford were truly, truly dreadful. We’ve not been great this season but we haven’t been as bad as that. Genuinely sorry for you guys as you deserve better

Whatever the refs name was, he needs banishing down to a pub league.

I don’t want to discredit Wimbledon who are a good side, but the referee directly affected the result of that game today.
I’ve just checked and he’s called Will Finnie, I only checked because after how you’ve all described him I was fully expecting his name to be Declan Bourne, the ref we had at Salford a few years ago and by far the worst ref I’ve ever seen.

You must be new to this fixture, I can't remember a time when we have been up for this fixture?! Ever! It's been men against boys for years. Our lot just don't seem to care enough.

Not even conceding 7 to a non league team? Let’s be honest we’re both in the shit.

With regards to the derby next week, can’t remember the last time a Notts team won a game we weren’t supposed to or one we were underdogs at the bookies for. Barrow pre Covid maybe?

Might well be a good time to play Mansfield, but very doubtful this team has the necessary bollocks to go and win at Field Mill.

Notts best chance next week is to sit back and defend (if that’s possible?) don’t play an open attacking game.

Viewed the two key incidents in the Wimbledon v Mansfield game.

Red card, Bowery is the last man and appears to make contact with the Wimbledon player first. Bit soft, but would be surprised if it was overturned on appeal.

Keillor-Dunn penalty shout, looked like a spot-kick to me, unless the referee felt he was already falling when contact was made.

Warner for Brindley and Robertson carries on improving and we've a chance.

We aren’t going to do that, but early signs today we could be a bit more pragmatic. Feel we’d have gone mad and either win or lost that a couple of weeks ago, but definitely felt second half we were playing a ‘draw isn’t terrible, let’s try and win this but keep enough men back’ sort of game.

Men against boys today. Nick Powell different class. Lemonheigh Evans looks good since he came back from Wimbledon, fair play to them and him for getting confidence in his game.

We're getting players back and looking good. The table is very pleasant reading but you should never rest on your laurels in football, it can change quickly.

Hope we're both up by that last game. Could be quite the party.

No they aren't Opitpez, they never have been or anywhere close but that hasn't seemed to impact the usual (heavy) defeat.

They can be goal shy and criminally wastefully all season long at home but as soon as Notts turn up they transform. It's like Billy's Boots

I thought it was a dive, but then I would.

Problem being is refs like that will carry of officiating games whereas clough will get fined/suspended for rightfully calling him a fraud basically.

Had that been wimbledon the lad would’ve had a wank before awarding the penalty.

As i’ve said before, we all benefit/suffer from such performances over time but it’s such a shame that the game was dominated by his decisions which directly lost to us losing today.

Now that could’ve been wigan vs wycombe or whatever, i’m not saying as it’s us, it’s just how such performances are allowed in the football league.

Imagine that performance being in a playoff final for instance….

I don’t think I could hack the same level of jeopardy as the 3-0 in the NL. Hated every minute of it. Hoping we’re either champions or you are for that one.

Seen the incident Clough has lost his shit over, probably is a foul but he's thrown himself to the ground which probably hasn't helped him. I can understand the frustration but can't help but think Clough has gone well over the top on it. I expected a much more clear incident. Definitley looks like this bad run has got to him.

Having two actual central midfielders for the first time since Palmer got injured helped, I thought Robertson did alright actually, got caught in possession badly once but largely looked like a similar but not as good version of Palmer.

Nemane and Jones still got caught high up the pitch a lot but it’s evident we’re not going to drop them deeper because they’re our main attacking outlets.

I thought defensively we looked ok, most times Barrow ‘got in’ was due to an individual mistake rather than us being wide open. I kind of hate to keep banging the drum because he seems a decent bloke and has been a good servant for the club in non league but Brindley really is absolutely hopeless, Warner has to start next week.

Also need an attacking player in this week. I’ve kind of largely agreed with the idea we have enough attacking players, we just choose to play all of them from the start but if we’re going to keep doing that then Randall (if he exists), Morias and Austin (who added nothing again when he came on) just aren’t good enough players to bring off the bench with any expectation of them having an impact.

Clough is under pressure and lashing out, can't buy a win. He needs a striker by Wednesday evening, that's all we know.

Suspect we might have been underdogs or close to for the two home games we won against Wrexham in that span but it's a fair shout. Either way if we aren't 2-0 down after 10 minutes next week then I'll start to believe, but that's what I expect to happen.

Not arsed whether we're 1st or 3rd, so long as we're up.

Austin is a really useful player to have but he’s your typical 7/10 and runs himself into the ground every time he plays whatever the position lad. He’s not got the quality to come off the bench and turn a game where you need a goal.
