3-2 Torquay but massive shouts of handball, if it's true then this is the 4th game in 5 we've been screwed over by the ref.

This is ridiculous. You could argue that dodgy refereeing decisions have cost us 6 points over the last few games. We'd still be in the relegation zone, but we'd still be in with a chance. There has been zero evidence of "things even themselves out over the course of a season" for us. I've never known the referees in this division to be this poor.

You would probably need to win virtually all of your remaining games, and rely on Cheltenham and ourselves losing at least a couple of games, but anything is possible. What counts in your favour is goal difference, way better than ours and probably Cheltenham too if you can win the games in hand. At the very least it would give you momentum going into the play-offs...despite your previous record...I wouldn't fancy playing you at Wembley (but good luck if it is Cheltenham!).

Still think Grimsby have a bit too much to do as it is, but if they do win all their games in hand I'll be getting a bit worried. I did say (in jest) on another thread that us and FGR will implode and Grimsby will win it though...

On a different note I'm very happy for Torquay, really hope they can escape the drop and it's looking very possible with the run they're on.

As I predicted, we lost. Dover should have been out of sight by half-time. Second half we improved but were toothless upfront. John Goddard is class, worth turning up for the rest of the season just to watch him. Our squad is disjointed with the amount of loan players coming and going because they keep getting injured. There's a half decent side in there somewhere. Just need to find that consistent starting line-up again.
