New series of Taskmaster starts tonight on Dave, anyone else a fan? Then we've got new Apprentice on thursday - it's a good week for me!

I love TaskMaster - it's a great format, just wish it didn't have so many adverts.

I've not watched The Apprentice for a few years it's too cringy and predictable now.

I know what you mean, but I can't help but enjoy it. There's a few old episodes knocking about on youtube and the difference in attitude is incredible. I think I just enjoy egomaniacs being shown up really, being knocked down a few pegs by their own idiocy is always fun to see.

On taskmaster the line up looks ok this year as well (it tends to be for this show, whoever does the bookings should be congratulated!) with Al Murray, Dave Gorman, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe and Paul Chowdhry, so it should be a laugh whatever happens!

I love Taskmaster. Ridiculously silly but great fun. Not sure the line up is as good as previous series' but it's too early to judge.

Loads of Homes under the Hammer and Escape to the Country at the moment.

Also been dipping out of the True Christmas movie channel that's started up again ready for the festive period.

I love a bit of Christmas but those movies are utter tripe. My missus watched one of those channels constantly a couple of years ago watching films called things like "The Christmas Wish", "Once Upon a Christmas" and "Soppy Christmas Mush With A Plot So Thin You can Work It out From the Opening Titles". Almost divorce ground that.

Bit of an average first episode of Taskmaster. Never heard of Paul Chowdhry before now...not the most dynamic of people, is he?

I think Paul might be trying to be this years Joe Wilkinson character, just without the personality....

Other than that I thought it was good, turns out Rob Beckett is a devious little sod!

He has a very dry sense of comedy which I can understand is not everyone's cup of tea. It made me laugh though.

Al Murray spending £150 just to take a pea 20 miles away seemed a little far fetched though.

Just caught up with National Treasure. Looking forward to seeing how it ends next week. I think it's been superb so far.

Currently watching "The Get Down" which is alright although personally I'd rather have more stuff about the actual music and movement rather than the side stories.

Waiting to start season 4 of The Wire. The first 3 seasons have been utterly amazing.
The get down was decent enough, a feel good show. Worth a watch. The wire was great, might be time to watch it all again.

Currently watching family guy, as always. New series as good as ever.

I've finished watching Luke Cage which I thought was pretty enjoyable. Now I'm going to continue with my Tales from the Darkside boxset. Also got the first seasons of South Park and King of the Hill to watch. Praise me, Steven.

Watched the first episode of Sky Atlantic's newest offering, Westworld which was excellent. I'm already excited for the next episode.

I'm still knee deep in to Gotham as well which I appreciate is pretty damn old but I had the sudden urge a while back to get involved in all things Batman - Arkham series of games, the Dark Knight trilogy et all.

The first 2 seasons are excellent. The 3rd is a bit of a chore. Especially the first half of it. Unless you have a fetish for watching things fall in slow motion.

I am getting there with 'The Wire'. Season 3 was very good, into season 4 now.

I did not expect Stringer Bell to get shot. I thought he would get out, some how.

Popstar: Never Stop, Never Stopping.

Crying, finding this absolutely hilarious. Possibly the worst best thing I've seen in a long time.

Started season 4 of Homeland, not really interesting me as much as the earlier series but it's ok so far

Billions again. I was on about episode 7 when my fibre was cut off back in June so I'm going through them again to refresh my memory before continuing.

Also waiting for episode 3 of Westworld on Sky Atlantic tomorrow. Really enjoyed the first two, it looks like it could really be something. Hopefully it doesn't do a 'Lost' and end up really fucking batshit weird.

Fixed that one for you pal.

:hesk:

But yeah, I watched episode 3 last night. Still really liking it... it's gonna take something pretty dramatic to cock it up now. I continue to be impressed with the start it's making.

By the way, have they actually said how many episodes there will be for this season? I assume about 10?

Finally got round to watching 11.22.63, which I had stacked up from earlier this year. So far looks pretty decent.

The Missing on the BBC. It has been really good so far, I think I am 3 or 4 into it. A lot of jumping from past to present but all in all, good to watch so far.
