I think us being down as not entering charcaters is pretty harsh considering in the conversation we asked a question about the power of one of our characters on Tuesday morning (which would affect where we sent each of our fighters), and we never received a response.

Yeah, sorry about that, but the problem is that there's never a guarantee that myself or Munkiki will be around to answer questions before the deadline, so it's always good to have a contingency plan in place just in case...

As a precautionary measure, other teams tend to do this sort of thing when they ask a question:

Can Character A's ability do (whatever)?

If Character A's ability can do (whatever), do this:
Territory X - Character B
Territory Y - Character C

If Character A's ability cannot do (whatever), do this:
Territory X - Character C
Territory Y - Character B

Then me or Munkiki can act accordingly.

About the Team 6 thing - it's a tough one because obviously Oaf and Munkiki are putting a lot into running this game. We all moan (well obviously only in jest) when there is a long wait between game weeks. Obviously Oaf has to update the game and answer questions when it's convenient for him, and yesterday that didn't work in T6's favour, but he wanted to keep the game moving which is perfectly understandable.

Not to mention, even if he had come on and answered your questions first, if the deadline had passed it would have been difficult to then let you enter fighters. There was a deadline earlier in this, after which we realised we would be better off entering Mewtwo rather than Peter Pan in a certain fight. We asked Oaf if we could change, and this was just a couple of minutes after the deadline and he said we couldn’t because the deadline is absolute. I know it’s not as severe as what’s happened to T6 but I’m just demonstrating that Oaf has been standing firm on deadlines for everyone.

I’ll admit that we also had a question about one of the fights on the last card, and were the team with a contingency plan (though maybe other teams do a similar thing). We learned to do this the “hard way” after last season when a similar (though admittedly less severe) thing happened to us.

I feel T6’s pain but hopefully they carry on giving it a good go like they have done so far because it would be to the detriment of the game if they threw the towel in (not that I am suggesting you are).

We also tend to plan for contingency.

All 4 team members are extremely active.

Magpie and Haddock are fucking tremendous and a welcome addition to the forum game crew.

Hopefully this is the case with all other teams as well, as I know last time around there were quite a lot of inactive members. I think all teams (Perhaps Stags apart) had at least one useless member.

This weakened the team substantially but Oaf didn't care this was all part of his master plan to prevent me winning Wars. I have always been nice to Oaf but for some reason he has decided that his life's goal is to prevent me winning at all forum games.
