Not sure when our remaining game is but it's against the under 23's, both teams already out, chances are it will be freezing cold, and we're playing shit hoofball and we never score at home.
Surely it just has to beat our lowest ever attendance record?

The filth from up the A1 that can't be named have sold over a thousand tickets for our Checkatrade game against them on Tuesday. Looking at the online ticket portal I reckon we've sold about 200 in our main stand which leads me to think we've sold about 500 altogether.

The B Team Boycott doesn't seem to have reached those fucking idiots.

It would be nice if we could manage those numbers.

The term "scab" was shared in the Habbin (in the friendliest of tones) today and the frantic sales pitches on the PA and Radio Cambs fills me with optimism.

I think we'll get more than a thousand sadly but that's about half of what I initially thought we'd get which is fantastic.

Yes the fact they were trying to market the Boro game off the back of our FA Cup game this week sums up how desperate the club is.

I'd give Boro the whole of the Habbin and take as much money from them as possible! Then I'd play a whole team of under 18s and take a fine if need be.

Hoping we take sub 100 to Vale on Tuesday. Really annoys me that they'e had to fix the draw to get get loads of derby' to try and get the attendances up.

Reckon we'll take a couple of hundred, although god only knows why. We're eliminated, the result means absolutely nothing. We'll have to play a few first teamers due to a lack of numbers, Vale will probably rest most of their first teamers due to them playing on Friday. Could be the lowest attended Vale v Alex competitive match in years.

Hopefully another sub 1000 and neither set of fans gets drawn into the derby side of it that the sentinel and radio stoke will bang on about.

For us it will be virtually a reserve game with Newport up on Friday and we can only go out with a heavy defeat and Newcastle winning on penalties. Not that I’m that arsed.

Be good to give the likes of Stobbs, Wilson, Turner and Forrester game time to stake a claim. Reckon we will make seven or eight changes as per the first two fixtures.

Got a few knocks so the likes of Pope and Worrall won’t be risked I doubt.

We have our dead rubber tomorrow away at Newport.

Someone on our forum was actually asking if the club is running a supporter's coach!!!

In terms of the game itself, I'm hoping we don't make any changes to give the team that started on Saturday at home to Maidstone a rocket, but I expect 4-5 to be made.

Sounds like there's a real possibility we'll be outnumbered at home tomorrow night, which would be a fantastic effort from us, considerably less so from them. Really thought our fans would crack for this game but, without tempting fate, looks like we've got some backbone.

We’ve got Bristol Rovers away in an enticing winner takes all passage into the knockout stages of this most entertaining of competitions.

Need to exit this thing as soon as possible, but I think the club are actively trying to progress.

Right, we need Notts Co to beat Lincoln 1-0 then both sides go through and we can bow out.

If you wish to fix it so it happens and we go out, please feel free to do so.

For us, I think we're through as long as we don't lose by 3 (or 4) clear goals and will top the group if we draw but win the penalty shoot-out. Lose the shoot-out and Notts County win it. I think. Maybe. I've not checked, just gone on what others have said.

We're moving the squad around again, with a couple of 16 year olds probably getting game time.

Absolutely massive game for us on Wednesday against Sunderland U23's in a winner takes all encounter for who can finish 3rd in the group.
Excitement is really building around the town for this one and I bought my ticket 3 weeks ago for this due to the high risk of it selling out.
As long as we win this game I don't care what happens in the league even if it means we end up getting relegated back to non league, the prestige of finishing higher than Sunderland U23's in this group would be more than worth it.
Bring it on!!!!!

Staying at home for Vale Reserves v Crewe Reserves... first game against them I’ve missed in a while!

We are only opening half a stand for home fans... so two sides will be empty as per the Newcastle game.

Aspin summed it up well... he doesn’t sleep well after a loss but he won’t be losing any tonight regardless of the result.

Guess we are pinning Wembley hopes on beating Yeovil and getting Spurs away in FA Cup then assuming we get through.

I’d like to get a sixth win in eight tonight for momentum if nothing else but with a crucial game on Friday night I expect the kind of side we’ve fielded in the reserve games something along the lines of:

Emvitov

Wilson
Smith
Mad Gav
Yates

ADF
Middleton
Tonge
Stobbs

Turner
Forrester

So disappointed with Shaun Derry or whoever made him pick up a very strong starting line up tonight. Very close to our strongest side with all the likes of Legge, Uche, Brown, Halliday and Taylor all starting. FFS.

Can't believe I'm really saying this but I almost want to see a couple of them miss out the Stanley game cos they pick up a knock tonight. Why in god's name risk your better players for a meaningless game in a meaningless cup, when even a win will most likely see us out? Fuck off Shaun.

Why are Lincoln playing such a strong team and why are there actually people there? Did no one give them the memo?

The side he has put out is disgraceful and I am appalled. I pray no one is long term injured (ie long term = misses 2nd round of the cup).

It sounds like the boycott has held up reasonably well from our side though Boro have proved themselves to be true skates.

I know we are already through, and I know it is a piss pot trophy, but 4-1 at HT?

Don't imagine too many Reading Academy players will be playing much first team football any time soon

Regis seemed fairly promising when he was with our Development Squad for a season or two. Think he may have been on the bench in this trophy for us last season at some point.

This is the utter lunacy that is this competition. Any top academy players coming through the system of PL/Championship clubs won't be stuck playing U23s games. They'll either be in a clubs first team squad or out on loan. They won't be sluming it playing this bag of shite competition, as proved by how many U23s teams look rubbish against average League Two teams.

Well, one positive for us tonight is that a lad has scored on his first professional start.

3,138 at Cambridge v Peterborough, with 1,123 of those being away fans. 587 fewer home fans than we got on Sunday, not bad, would have liked it closer to 1500 home fans though, but bearing in mind we haven't played them for 16 years (and still haven't as this is a reserve fixture) and it'd be a comprehensive sellout for a normal game, it's OK. Still 2k mugs in amber though.

Yep reasonably good boycott. I'm disappointed we got over 2,000 home fans but not surprised. Sadly CFU just haven't got on board with this properly to mobilise people properly. I will guess the majority of the 2,000 there aren't season ticket holders/regulars and have gone "cos it's the scum innit!!!!" The Amber Army Facebook page is full of those numpties.

If this had been under the old format with no B Teams, it would have been close to a sell out no question. I'd put the crowd down by at least 4,000.
