We'll be down before Bolton, that will be some feat! Hideous squad who do not want to play alongside each other, I want someone to give us a real, real hammering. My next Southend game is Sunderland away, they might have a new manager who won't just settle for 1 or 2 nil, fingers crossed they'll get 7 or even more.

The silver lining is the majority are out of contract in the summer. I'm actually already looking forward to seeing a new team who might actually give a shit in Division 4 next season.

Difficult game for us at Blackpool today.
First half we weren't in it but managed to hang on at 0 0.
Second half we were much improved and managed to carve out a 2 1 win.
Bit fortunate really all in all but I suppose you need some luck along the way.
Thought Blackpool fans were very good and made plenty of noise even at 2 0 down.
They have some good players and will be a threat this season.

To Robinson’s credit he’s got us playing some excellent football. Had you played us six games ago you’d have won that.

It's amazing what confidence and a tweak in the formation can do for you. I like that Robinson was defending the ground staff after the game when the Donny players alledgedly got "disrespectful" with them as well.

Alex Gorrin is looking a cracking signing allowing others to play. And often a good tackle is really good to watch and he did some beauties today.

The crowd was boosted by a few Sutton Utd supporters as their match at Fylde was called off. Not sure who they were cheering on but they've had a great day out on the piss by all accounts.

Absolute scenes, should have lost by four or five but Cov missed everything that came their way. I have no voice left.

Anyone know how many shots off target and aimless passes along back four Coventry had? Thanks.

We’re shit. Peterborough have had our pants down with 750k for Godden, the guy couldn’t get a shot on target if he was a yard out and had all the time in the world. Classic Cov season this, start well and then collapse as soon as October comes around. Three tough games next too so fully expecting us to be in our rightful position of 12th come November.

Big win for Tranmere that, MK Dons plummeting down towards the drop zone as well is good to see.

Our game yesterday just summed up how indifferent our fans are about our club at the moment. Gillingham played for a point and got it because this team has no creativity and the manager is clueless.

The owners won't sack him, though. That's the most frustrating thing.

Couple of pieces of extra quality late on from Posh yesterday separated the sides by the sounds of it. Outside of that, a decent game with Pym making two good saves.

Played most of the second half with an 18 year old (who started) and one who's only been back in training for 2 weeks after being injured in pre-season, which wasn't ideal. Looked like Toney was a bit naughty and took O'Connor out of the game from KO in the second half. Went straight through the back of him and could easily have been avoided.

Need to get out of October and then, in theory, start facing the teams whose results against are likely to shape our season. The likes of Sunderland and Posh aren't them kind of ones. All we seem to have done is face teams in and around the top third so far this season.

Huge win for us at Coventry today. Classic case of what can happen if you don’t take your chances. That said, with the amount of players missing through injury, suspension and international call ups, that was the only way we were going to get a result.

Psychologically it’s massive to be out of the relegation zone going into Friday’s game against Southend. What a big game that is for us.

Agreed, Gorrin is excellent. He’s proven quite the find, an upgrade on Mousinho and rarely (I think barring one half of football this season where he went AWOL), has been excellent.

The shift to 4-3-3 (I’m still not convinced it’s quite a 4-3-3 considering Henry in particular isn’t an orthodox forward), nonetheless it’s working well and we are making teams (at this stage) look distinctly average.

We seem to have an Indian sign over Coventry. Although they are the bigger club, we actually have the better head to head record and we have thrashed them on a couple of occasions in recent times.

That was a massive win today. If we beat Southend on Friday we will have reeled in several clubs in the bottom half, which did not seem likely a couple of weeks ago.

Its not just you. Dale's League record against Coventry is w5 d3 L2.

Maybe they're better against southerners...

Top half of the table is hard to judge because of the Bury situation and these games in hand. Wishing that they all fall around Christmas with lots of injuries and frozen pitches for everyone else please.
(Watch this come back to bite me on the arse)

They lost to us, if we aren't playing them in League 2 next season something will have gone very wrong.

You won't have an easier game all season, a chance to rack up the goal difference.

Bolton away tomorrow. Gutted to miss this but booked my hols thinking Bolton would go the same way as Bury and I’d have a free weekend.
3rd meeting between the sides this season. I only saw the league cup match where we won 5-2. Since then they’ve strengthened and seem to be harder to score against so I don’t fancy another easy game. I still fancy us to nick a tight win, 0-1 or 1-2, which would put some daylight between us and the bottom 3.

Posh at home for us. Can't wait to see Maddison and Dembele diving all over the place.

2-2 draw.

Interesting to note that apparently Club decided not to include it in their match report or bring it up with the referee or FA because Posh play teams around us over the next handful of games.

Shrewsbury for us tonight and we've had mixed bags of results against them down the years. No idea if it's true, but I think we've been better at their place than ours.

Injuries are starting to clear up a little. We played Sheffield United on Monday and got more minutes into Pett, Frecklington is back in full training and we also get Morrell and Lewis back tonight after being away on international duty. Morrell is a big player for us so far this season.

Rovers picking up more injuries. Banks out for 3 months after surgery, Gilmour does his knee after looking decent, when finally getting some game time. A win for us here would be invaluable but the Shrimpers look likely to score so dropping points wouldn’t come as a surprise.
