Cardiff have conceded 9 goals in the last 2 games after tonight. Since they gave Mick the reigns permanently after a decent start its kind of all gone a bit stale again.

Played 5 central defenders too !

Sometimes you can focus too much on one area and forget the rest .

Suspect Cardiff tried to be physical but lacked pace .

Why? He seems fine so far. Let the game run. Good adv for both teams. Pen was marginal if in or out of box but at speed always hard to see even with replays

Let’s not declare this time. This could be very ugly if they don’t.

Utterly fucking embarrassing. They should be ashamed of themselves after that 45 minutes, struggling for words to describe how bad they’ve been. Oh well, at least we got 9 games of enjoyment in this season.

At 3-0, oppo struggling with the pace and intensity of the pressing I was thinking id seen this one before and to be honest I wasn’t a fan of the ending! 4th feels a lot better!

Great performance so far, we play at such pace it’s difficult to live with if you aren’t prepared for it. Bell and Bree are so high and Berry seems to have boundless energy. Coventry really poor though it must be said but think we’ve forced it a little bit too.

Hope the Coventry fan is ok, seemed very serious

No idea what’s happened to us tonight, we’ve genuinely been really good so far this season and the data has backed it up but this has been utterly pathetic tonight. Feels like it could be a season changing performance and result. Thoroughly depressing.

Thought we were exceptional tonight, really strong and aggressive front footed display that Coventry couldnt live with. Straight from the off we were at it and never really let up, you could see it from Adebayo rolling his man and winning the penalty that the defence were going to struggle to deal with him. Really good performance to a man but when Harry Cornick scores a header and with his left foot you know its going to be your night!

Coventry were very poor, though, the number 14 who came on at half time came on looked like a raffle winner, as did a few others. A number just straight up got bullied by Adebayo and Maatsen will have twisted blood from Bree and Clark playing around him all night.

Probably one of the best performances I’ve seen from a Luton side in the 25 years of going to games.

Hahaha. Oakey + Pelly. To be fair hes right. The old school doing us proud last night. Luke is becoming legendary status. Just wont quit and is everywhere. I thought Rea was washed up. He came on a few weeks ago and looked like a tank. Last night he was my MoM.

No running out of energy or getting nervous and dropping deep last night. As with others thoughts it was a display better than seen in a long while where everything came together.

Im thinking their back three had nightmares last night with Eli and Harry in their heads running them ragged. We gonna be fending off some bids in January there.

Going to take a the squad to play like we do. Berry and Clark were all over the pitch all night, Berry is perfect as a high pressing midfield player but you can’t do that every game. Pelly/Campbell/Rea etc will all get opportunities

Bournemouth away on Saturday, obviously sick of drawing but this lot are second and have won 3 on this spin, so we would obviously take a point.

Not sure if McAvoy will freshen it up, this is obviously a hard to beat unit, so maybe this isn't the game to tinker with things.

If Hughes is fit then he'll come back in at LCB for Cunningham.

Sounds like Barkhuizen will be back in contention at last, he has asthma so it seems Covid really fucked him.

So...

Iversen
Storey, Bauer, Hughes
VDB, Ledson, Whiteman, Earl
DJ
Riis, Maguire

injuries apart, can't see PRM being automatic choice anymore...probably past his "sell by date" ...
Yes.
Last night, fantastic work rate, persistent pressing and closing down, excellent passing at speed, shooting on target. All qualities that Pelly has in abundance, so why wouldn't he be straight back in? Just a case of which of Adebayo or Cornick drops out for him.

(Yes, this is a joke, unfortunately NJ does seem to want him in the team, even when he is woefully out of form,, same as he usually does with Potts. Personally I would have been happy to wave him off in the summer.)
