If only there was another forum with mods and admins that do what they're supposed to and if only someone had mentioned it...
Irony being that if there were mods here then that poster might not be any more…

Ok, I admit I was out of order with that, it’s not often I let myself get really annoyed on here but Carver manages to really get under my skin constantly but I shouldn’t resort to saying stuff like that.
Apologies Carver I’ll delete the offensive posts asap.

If they were good mods if wouldn't be a permanent ban, it would be temporary and when back they probably wouldn't do it again. If they did it would become permanent.

The ironic thing is in the past I’ve had 2 one week bans for much less, one was for mentioning the other forum (pathetic), and the other was because Ipswich lost 3-0 at Plymouth and I took the piss so Tractor Boys banned me for a week and in my PM’s he messaged me calling me an absolute m0ng.

This is much worse and I fully admit that I’ve been well out of order here and should not have posted any awful stuff like that, I’m not like that at all either so I’m not really sure what came over me.

You haven't been banned because I didn't officially report it, I mean no one likes a grass do they?

Tell you what Fish, I'll accept your apology on one condition..

You admit that Grimsby are SHIT and that Carlisle are GREAT, then we'll be good.

Yep really is bang out of that GTFCfish has outed Carver's preferences on a public forum. There has been plenty of research to suggest that this actually a condition and he can't do anything to control his desires and urges so we need to make this forum a safe space for Carver. He probably won't ever be able to stop being a Carlisle fan so we need to ensure that we can help him somehow take any possible enjoyment out of life.

Are there any decent Grimsby posters on here?

They all seem to antagonise me for some reason.

Yes because I'm positive about our chances of winning the league this season and you don't like that do you? lol

I'm more realistic than you, you mean.

As long we have these owners, we'll get no where near promotion. When they took over we were on the verge of the Championship, last season it was a struggle to keep our league status. They've been in charge getting on for what, 14 or 15 years now and we've not come close to a promotion. I know one season we scraped in the playoffs on the final day, but we were never going up.

I know you don't like to hear it but it is all about staying up for now, at least until we get some owners with a bit of drive and ambition to push the club forward. These lot think they are doing a good job if they simply 'keep the club going', despite continuously having to make cuts, cuts and more cuts due the complete arse up they've made of things.

Talk of league titles is just pie in the sky fantasy under the current regime, even despite having a very good proven manager.

Quigley out and no one in for us today.

We’re heading for a relegation battle with what should be a promotion challenging budget. This is what happens when you have a DOF that is completely out of his depth.

Very surprised you didn’t throw more money at it but you won’t be in a relegation battle regardless.

You’ve got a good squad a good manager, and more than enough money to throw at it in January if things go south before then, come end of season you will be nowhere near the bottom two I’m sure of it.

Plus even if I’m wrong, you would survive with the tried and tested “there is at least two teams worse than us” method. Pools included in those teams considerably worse off.

The only team I can see who’ll be worse than Pools ,are Crawley.
I’d snap your hand off for 3rd bottom, bloody scandalous considering all the hard work to get back into the league.

Harrogate also, think the Weaver Project there has reached it's ceiling.

Stockport will be fine but DC's biggest weakness is the transfer window

Yeah they'll be nowhere near but it would be mildly amusing, not to see DC failing but for the mongs on the socials after all the shit thrown our way

Aye one thing he got away with us was there being no window in National League and being able to add throughout the season,

Moaned about it a lot in the half a season he did with us in the league.

Us, Rochdale, Harrogate, Crawley, Colchester look very poor, I'd be surprised if it's not two from that group.
Interesting that a couple of those strengthened squads yesterday… us not so much

Or maybe league two - despite what a lot of County fans were saying pre-season (and no, not you neccesarily. Moreso some excitable County fans I've got chatting with IRL around town) is a step up in quality from the NL after all?

I think County will be fine. But not fixing obvious weaknesses and being stuck with your squad til Jan might need ambitions dialling down a bit from some of your "piss the league" fans you've picked up over the last few years. I reckon you're good for mid table.

As are we if our squad is actually managed properly! Its definitely an If for us though.

If Gillingham haven't signed anyone who can score then surely they're in this mix?

I was thinking about them, they've had a bad start but surely enough on paper elsewhere in the team to be okay?

We will find out how poor Colchester are tomorrow, Think tomorrow may well be DDay for Hartley.
Lose tomorrow and there is no way back, And even he is not thick enough to realise that.

Very short sighted from the club waiting until window is closed to then sack the manager very next game, bordering on idiotic having someone come in stuck with previous guys dross.

Probably correct though, we are just the club to do such a thing.

Think of Raj and how tight he is, Don,t think its a coincidence only a loan coming in.
Never mind what the manager says to the DOF, Chairman has the last word.
Would think there is a lot of free agents who could do a job better than some we have.

If the worst came to the worst, Don,t think PH can complain. He was given a free hand
And miscalculated the strength of Lge2. He,s more or less admited this himself.

Some supporters don,t realise how big tomorrows game is.
