We've now got strikers coming out of our ears but we let our top scorer from last season join Colchester. He's a sick note but he will get 12 plus goals. The two we brought in to replace him have zero goals and one has Northampton fans laughing and the other, when I youtube him, has a glaring miss v Derby to his name.

I am genuinely worried because if we continue to do what we are by the time Betsy comes to his senses we will be too far behind to get out of trouble.

Fans on our forum are still praising him because we beat Gas, Fulham and, believe it or not, Pompey (in the Papa Johns). Great, cheers me up as we drop like a stone.

Very short sighted from the club waiting until window is closed to then sack the manager very next game, bordering on idiotic having someone come in stuck with previous guys dross.

Probably correct though, we are just the club to do such a thing.
We’ve done that many times in the past. First week of September became a tradition at Carlisle for sacking managers.

I liked Colchester’s business yesterday. A shame as I’m sure we’d all have liked to see them get their derby with Sarfend back.

Hartlepool were extremely worrying the other day. Haven’t seen a worse side in years tbh. Assume they’ll improve once PH gets sacked.

Harrogate will have to time their traditional ‘drop like a stone from mid-table’ act very carefully this year as there’s going to be a reasonably high points tally to stay up.

But as I’ve been banging on about since the takeover, I think Crawley are still my favourites to drop. No confidence that these WAGMI morons will bring in anyone more suitable than Betsy when they eventually sack him.

Got to feel for Betsy when he sees WAGMI have put up a "shall we sack the manager" poll on Twitter.

E10 rifle. I agree with you but I can't click the 'Like' button, not for that.

We have the players to climb the table but by the time either Betsy stops believing his own hype or wagmi bring someone else in, it may be too late.

Very down about it all at the moment and clinging to a little bit of faith that I may be wrong.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if PH gets the chop if we get beat tomorrow, there's no rhyme or reason at the club anymore.
Raj might outdo himself & sack PH at half time.

Completely agree, I can see it happening. However, worried about the replacement if it happens.

No secret we struggled to attract anyone of any pedigree in the summer, never mind after this start to the season, it being out there we clearly pay the bare minimum, the windows closed and will show again how trigger happy the owner is.

Dread to think of the candidates this time round.

There were rumours you were in for Stockdale in the summer.

Yep but he'd be desperate for it when we sack Hartley and because he's ex Borer he'll probably get it. It's all part of the Pools circle, appoint outsider does rubbish, get a Borer reject, cos he 'knOwS the ArEa' he does shite repeat, rinse ad nauseum

Not at all and it might be the reason Raj wasn't stumping up in the latter part of the window. I reckon he's on borrowed time. I think he needs 4 points off Col Ewe and Donny.

'I withheld a portion of the budget cos I didn't trust him...'

Hartley has been far from decent so far, but I feel like Raj has pulled his kilt round his ankles and made him waddle out bare arse in front of everyone, another scapegoat he can sacrifice in a months time.

Well if my fellow Carlisle fans were under any illusions that we aren't going to have a season of struggle, I expect they won’t be now.

Another poor performance. The third in a row in the league.

The positive is we’ve taken 4 points from these 3 bad performances, but against better sides we are going to get absolutely destroyed.

I’ve said all along we simply don’t have anywhere near enough quality to avoid a season of struggle at the bottom end, and whilst we’re sitting pretty in 12th at the moment, the fixtures have been kind, we’ve played mainly the weaker teams. The next month or so will present some tougher tests which is when I expect we’ll be dragged right down in to the relegation mix.

Still fairly hopeful that we’ll have enough to stay up with Simpson in charge, but it isn’t going to be enjoyable. But it’s another point towards safety, which is what it’s all about.

We’re on exactly the same number of points from 6 games as we were at this stage last season, but 5 of the teams we’ve played so far are bottom half. It’s only going to get tougher. More performances like today and we’ll drop down the league like a stone.

Anyway if I was being negative I wouldn’t say I’m hopeful of staying up.

Much better performance from Dale today. Just a shame that we can't defend corners for shit.

More performances like that and we should be alright

Not concerned by the levels of performance over the last 3 games?

Railway is a Chester fan
He probably has more pressing concerns than Carlisle's last three games.

Ok. As a member of the Carlisle people, how do you see things? Do you think we look much better than last season?

I assume your talking about seeing the team line up.
I was complete baffled by the players picked, system we used & decided not to bother watching/listening to the game.

I think it’s dawned on Hartley listening to his post match that he’s been sold a pup from Raj, are these mostly shite signings down to the hand he’s been dealt by Raj? Where they the best we could get? And it’s not just the Scottish lot, Cooke has stunk the house down whenever he’s been involved, Lacey should be thanking his lucky stars that his partner in crime Murray is hogging all of the dog shit spotlight for himself.

Changing managers won’t change a thing, it never does, we’ve done it plenty, we’ve had umpteen, Raj and his penny pinching is the problem and he’s taking us back to non league.

You seem to have a bit of quality and depth up top. I’d take any of your four strikers to supplement us.

The Scottish route was always destined to fail though though wasn’t it?

The budget is no doubt shit but is it any worse than last season’s?

There are draws and then there are draws. Drawing away at a team going well is a decent point for a team in trouble.

No idea how we played as I wasn't there but I'm happy with the point.

I'm not happy with the stat that shows for the tenth game (every one) we have had fewer shots than the opposition. To my mind it seems we are playing too deep. And it seems we enjoy playing deep. Needs to change.

Think the penny has dropped with most Pools fans now who the problem was all along.

It's a question I'd love to ask Hartley if they were the best he could get with what he was given, but this is beside the point because you can bet your house on the Scots lads being his picks. Did he know enough about the level? Arguably not,did he do his homework on the job? You'd have to say there's no evidence he has.

At the bare minimum, when you've been dealt a shit hand, they need to be fit and unified and we are not. The second halves in every game have been a huge problem, visibly tiring as games go on. The buck stops with him.

Tactically it's a mess, new system and teamsheet most weeks, that's all on him. Whenever we score it's everyone behind the ball and he moans on the radio there's no outball, well if you wanna sit back there has to be a plan how we will counter and there clearly wasn't one yesterday. Lob it up there and hope for the best will always cede possession, the management aren't getting the basics right so what chance do we have if we have shit players?

Noticed he said in midweek the only thing keeping him positive was his daughter and then today bemoaning the lack of deadline day signings. He clearly knows he's made a mistake, he's out of his depth, he was clearly the wrong option. He shouldn't have come and think he knows that.

We are heading down and it is Raj's fault. He throws managers under the bus, spins it himself to avoid scrutiny, deliberately divides the fanbase. Hartley is culpable too but he's just not a manager at this level. Mad to think he turned down the Cardiff job a few years ago, seems whenever he manages a club of any size above part time pub standard it all comes apart for him.

Nothing will change until the ownership moves on.

Don't me wrong, I think Hartley is rammel, his team selections and formations are pulled straight from a tombola, I bet some of these players couldn't believe their luck when they got a call from England and a two year contract.

"You’ve got to have players who want to come. You’ve got to financially match what they want and then the right type and quality, do they want to drop down to League Two?" He could've just said the bit in bold and left it at that.
