Hastie came on yesterday, I can,t describe what I saw absolute waste of time
a half fit Joe Gray would have been far better.

Along side him at Kilmarnock, He was made to look incapable yesterday.

We all know what Raj is like, but Hartley has been in the game long enough
to know his way around the boardroom.
He was given a free hand, and they are HIS signings from north of the border.

Think his Naievty has now been totally exposed, I understand when bringing
a new manager may not work, but it’s now plain to see as things stand
We are most certainly going to the NatLge.

I think it’s dawned on Hartley listening to his post match that he’s been sold a pup from Raj, are these mostly shite signings down to the hand he’s been dealt by Raj? Where they the best we could get? And it’s not just the Scottish lot, Cooke has stunk the house down whenever he’s been involved, Lacey should be thanking his lucky stars that his partner in crime Murray is hogging all of the dog shit spotlight for himself.

Changing managers won’t change a thing, it never does, we’ve done it plenty, we’ve had umpteen, Raj and his penny pinching is the problem and he’s taking us back to non league.

He's got good set piece delivery and can pick out a pass given time on the ball but he can't tackle, run or get in the box. I just don't know where he fits, was blatantly just signed without thinking how he'd fit in the system but that's just typical of us, there's no strategy or planning in anything we do.

Yep I'd rather have Sylla or Niang in there who are much lesser players but will run and scrap and that is what we need at the minute. Basic desire and fitness neither of which Cooke has shown.

I think a luxury player is a fair way to describe him. When the goings good and you’re winning games he looks great, always after the ball and things go through him. He’s not someone for when the chips are down and the team is struggling. I liked him but we were right to let him go, he was some what overrated by some of our fans, similar to Billy Knott who ended up at Canvey Island and got better everytime he didn’t play. If Cooke doesn’t improve he’ll end up at the North East equivalent, South Shields!

Carver, i have not said we’re going down. If Simpson can keep last seasons shower of shit up, then I see no reason why he can’t keep us up this season. But I’ve said all along and I stand by it, this squad doesn’t have enough quality to avoid being in and around the bottom quarter of the table when it gets to the business end of the season. It’s great that we’re riding high in 12th, but we’ve had favourable fixtures and have still looked less than convincing. If we play like we have done over the last 3 games, we will be on the end of some beatings in the coming weeks and I do expect us to start plummeting down the league. Unless of course our performances start to drastically improve which is what I’m hoping for. I trust our manager.

Carver, do you ever actually look at the performance levels of our team? Or do you just ignore it and assume everything is all great.

At least two of Carlisle's goals last Saturday were caused by a combination of Rochdale's inability to defend set pieces (hopefully to be corrected pronto by Jim Bentley) and Paul Huntington being rather useful at creating mayhem from said set pieces when not properly marked...

We've already played 4 of the bottom 6, that will be 5 of the bottom 6 come Saturday.

It's concerning that we're not looking at all convincing despite on paper having a favourable opening run of fixtures. What do you think will happen when we come up against the top sides if we continue with these levels of performance?

When you look at the odds for us to win football matches, it’s pretty evident that bookmakers see us as the worst team in the league. I’ve noticed this for a good few weeks now but this week it couldn’t be more clear.

Take Tuesday for example, Skybet have us 17/4 to win. You can’t get odds as long as that for any other team winning a game in League 2. Not even close. They have next to zero faith in us winning a game of football, particularly away from home. These odds would reflect more that of a lower league team playing a premier league team in the cup, not a bog standard League 2 fixture. To put it in perspective, no wins Rochdale up against top of the league unbeaten Orient. A Rochdale win… 2/1, not even half the return you’d get for a Carlisle win on the same night. Says it all.

Now interestingly that doesn’t necessarily mean they think we’ll go down, only 6th favourites for the drop. As we all know from previous experiences, the worst team doesn’t always go down and that’s likely why the bookies think we’ll just about stay up.

If we get to around the 40 point mark by Christmas/New Year which is what I’m hoping, I will raise a glass to a half season well done and will look forward to what is ahead over the second half of the season.

Im starting to believe that if it wasn't for all our injuries, then we'd be the best or at least 2nd best team in the division.

40 points by mid season would put you on course for 80 points.

Or are you expecting only two draws after the new year to reach the magic 42?
