No longevity at any club (not even managed 2 seasons yet), he got sacked at West Brom after a 1 win in 10, resigned at Schalke after 2 wins in 10 putting doubt on his ability to pull out of a bad run, and he's never had to rebuild a side from scratch, he's taken over good teams consistently. MK had just won the paint pot so could clearly compete in L1, got them to play-offs. West Brom had just been relegated with a squad far too good for the Championship anyway, and he met expectations there. Chelsea, I could have won the CL with that bloody team! Schalke, same again, good squad already and you could argue that 6th was a disappointment.

We need a serious rebuild and a manager who is going to stamp his authority on the squad. Not a man who has been previously known as 'Robbie' by his former players and has never actually done a serious rebuild before.

Mowbray to Rotherham...

Well we've shortlisted it down to 2 and both are under contract at another club so its looking like its a toss up between Mowbray and Stubbs from what ive heard, ive heard people say its defo Stubbs and others saying Mowbray so we'll have to wait and see.

What is your opinion on Mowbray and what type a football does he like his teams to play?

I'll get behind Di Matteo even though not my first choice, would have preferred Pearson

Fast, fluid football. Bottled play-offs/promotion with us last year. Not sure why you want him really.

Had a quick glance on your message board and looks like 99% of your fans will be disappointed to see him go, i like that style of play its what we need for this division but my only concern is that your tailed off badly towards the back end of the season which says he might be a little mentally weak when it comes down to the nitty-gritty.

Oh absolutely, if he winds up as our manager, I'll support him wholeheartedly, but I have my reservations about his appointment as detailed above.

For the record, I have reservations about our new owner too, worries me that no one can seem to find proof of finances, I also feel that him buying us was a massive publicity stunt, but we shall see.

Brian McDermott sacked by Reading, bizarre seeing as he was only appointed mid season but Reading really fell off and could struggle next season. Strange how they've waited until now to sack him though, maybe it goes deeper than just footballing issues.

He's probably spent the last fortnight thinking about the squad, released / retained list, summer transfer targets, probably organised the recruitment people etc. And now that's been wasted and will have to start again. Seems strange.

Edit: Jaap Stam they're saying?

Pathetic decision to sack him. Brian has done poor since he came back but should have been given at least until christmas especially as money on transfers is next to non existant. The rumour is that Jaap Stam is going to take over.

Bristol Rovers confirm Darrell Clarke has signed a new contract with Rovers. Hopefully that's the end of the Leeds utd saga now. Leeds can move onto Oxford's Appleton to turn them down...

I'd be loved as a Leeds fan after what their chairman has done to them that Karl Robinson rejects them and now the manager of Bristol Rovers does too.

The circus goes on. Apparently Cellino did want him seriously but I bet we didn't show that.

Gave you a good old scare before our keeper threw the ball at Beckford in 2010 :bg: Nah I hope it works out for Leeds, delighted Darrell has stayed but a bit like Wednesday they're a club I want to see back in the Premiership.

Yep although fewer and fewer as time goes on. I knew he was trouble before he even took us over. How people can justify wanting him to stay because "he's put some money in" and "there's no-one else so we'd be in admin without him", is beyond me. Such weak arguments. And false.

He still won't realise it's his fault that (according to Alan Nixon) 8 managers have rejected us...one being at MK Dons, one at Bristol Rovers, and one who has just joined Notts County.

With the size of Leeds, there will always be someone interested.

I reckon now it's going to be one of the foreign managers Cellino met with last week, trouble is even if they're good managers he never gives them the time.

McDermott sacked by Reading, WTF?? I used to think of them as a good example of a stable club but they're getting as bad as Leeds now.
What on earth is going on at the Mad stad (name seems apt now)?

They don't fuck about. Are they actually gonna keep their appointment till the end of the season this time?

What did happen with Clement? Why did they fuck him off to their detriment...
