Think we look strong everywhere really, only issue might be upfront as Sam and Knowles are complete unknowns. I think we’d struggle to cope without Wootton for any length of time.

I have only seen Knowles play once. He came on in the 89th minute vs Stevenage last year. I wrote that he showed a few glimpses of promise and tried to hustle and bustle which is a good quality. From what I recall he made a couple of good movements in the box enough to make me think he might have something about him.

We’ve signed forward David Parkinson on loan from Sheff Utd.
20 years old,had a spell at Satanage last season,but was cut short due to the Covid outbreak.

I suspect that’ll be his role - he’ll definitely start as fourth choice striker and it’s by no means certain that we’re going to start with two all the time this year. Hopefully he does well and forces his way in, just seems a bit of an unnecessary one.

Probably our best player from last season, Miche Efete, has re-signed on a two year deal. Did think he was destined for the EFL. Suspect that Charlton target, they can't sign him at the moment, Dennon Lewis, who was our official player of the year, will also sign.

I think you need to wait a bit yet, also - what would you want instead a journeyman? A young hungry player is probably a better fit for that slot, if you think about it.

They are really going for it this season and paying big money for players the problem is can anyone be certain this season will start on time and games will be played in front of paying spectatos,. What they are doing is a massive gamble and only time will tell how it plays out.

Only made a few late substitute appearances so can’t tell you a lot. The brief amount I saw of him he didn’t look good enough for this level.
