A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
I think it'll be remain 54:46

The controls we have on non-EU immigration is ridiculous. It's such an arbitrary 'first come first served' method. Had a lecturer at university for 3 years who is now moving back to the states because of visa issues, how is he not a benefit we want to keep in this country!?

Which is one reason I want to leave. So we don't have to have such a crap and hugely discriminatory non-EU migration system because it's the only bit we can properly control and thus have to discriminate against to keep the overall numbers down. I've love one consistent migration system applied to everyone giving an equal criteria no matter where they come from, France or Outer Mongolia, Poland or Niger.

No guarantees we'd get that even if we did leave mind, but it'd be grand to try far as I'm concerned.

For the sake of our local fishing industry, it has to be LEAVE. I am also fed up with being outnumbered by Eastern Europeans when I walk down the main street here.

I'm convinced that leave is going to win. As everyone else is predicting numbers, I'll say 51-49.

You might get even more Jonny Foreigners if you vote leave mate, be careful!!1!

One of these Johnny Foreigners nicked my bike recently, and before you ask, I caught up with the tea leaf a few days later, riding the thing bold as brass.

If I wanted to hear that many foreign accents, I would go and live in Gdansk or Bucharest etc
Does the accent matter? Hard working people. I'll declare an interest here, my grandfather was Polish. Came here to escape nazi oppression and fought for this country against the sort of bigotry that you're now displaying. We've always been a better country because of immigration culturally, economically and morally.

Really can't see a win for Leave, nothing points to it now.
I think I fell much into the category of an undecided voter until perhaps 3-4 days ago.
I'll be voting remain tomorrow and I'm not unduly concerned about not getting my own way.

54-46

Sickening bigotry from Camborne Gills and Blade.

Especially Blade.

So I am a bigot am I? For having been a victim of theft ?:told:

There are many other non personal reasons we should leave, but I might as well be pissing in the wind trying to justify them it seems.

I was making a cheap joke. Feel free to respond to Aber though, his response was better than mine.

I have no issue with genuine refugees, it is the people who are a drain on our public services, who will make no contribution I am on about.

Who are they then? Check the figures regarding immigrant tax contributions and employment status.

Oh dear SOH failure :pond:

Two Poles are talking about their friend who migrated to America. "Did you hear about Bartek? He opened up a jewellery store after just one year in America!" "How did he do that?" "With a crowbar."

Did you like that one?

I'd urge everyone to vote. I think I said this before but I'd honestly rather us vote leave with a massive turnout than remain with only a few people bothering.

Who knows what the correct decision is but it'd be good for whatever decision is made to be on the back of a large number of people.

Hopping voting Britain!

At the general I turned up at about 7:15 and they told me I was the first person to turn up. Turned up at 6:55 today and there was already a queue with people constantly arriving.

I would imagine the people there would be mainly brexiters due to age but even as a village with an average age of 60+ we returned two lib dem councillors at the locals so maybe we're an anomaly.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
I feel today is the beginning and not the end as people hope, simply because the pride and passion is all on the leave side only.

People on whole voting remain today (and I am one of them) are not going to with passion.......just we worry about rocking the boat.

Walking round Middleton today and the leave voters have signs out, have spring in step, are very vocal and passionate about this cause.

Seen no remain signs, if leave wins tomorrow it will be with a passionate cry, if remain wins it will be with a sigh of relief or shrug of shoulder.

The big key longer term is sorting the Polish problem, its not immigration had caused the big rise in leave in last few years, its the ridiculous levels in poles which came over........i am not slating them here, just that this key area started massive frustrations.

Seen it building when used to work for local council and the locals in area moaning over groups coming over, next to little English spoken and in council within days for benefit forms.

3-4 years of this being ignored at government level seen rise of ukip, who since then also latched onto refugees to build the fear.

Immigration has bored everyone to death now, but I see this esculating leave wise like snp has since Scottish vote if people are not shown true curbing of numbers.

I think most leave voters do not mind people coming in, but it was abused by pole for afew years and while hard working that caused the friction....hopefully it can be negotiated on because if another group came again in droves it will keep ukip strong

e big key longer term is sorting the Polish problem
Again, this strikes me as fear with very little rational thought behind it. There isn't a Polish problem, one of the most integrated and employed migrant communities in the country. They pay taxes here, make up a shortfall in skills and are less likely to use public services. Before I get dismissed as a "left wing nut job " or summat here's the blue dyed torygraph with some numbers.
