Can someone explain to me why this is a 'right-wing' decision?
Ignore them, anyone who disagrees with people like them is right wing or wwaassist.

Bunch of mindless softies they are.

One of the things that worries me is the potential loss of the employment rights the EU affords us as workers. The capitalist corporations will be ecstatic with last night's result. Anyone who has worked in America, or has spoken to someone who does in detail will know the dangers. Basically, you can be fucked off for no reason whatsoever and redundancy and sick leave is effectively non-existent for the most part, annual leave rights are greatly reduced and the maternity/paternity rights are a joke. Is this what is now going to creep into this country?
American corps wanted us to remain in the EU for their own benefit not ours. So I don't think you're on the right line with this thinking mate. As people have already said, our working rights.womens rights/equality rights were already in place before the EU.

The whole Leave campaign has been dominated by right-wingers, and their populist politics. It is undeniably a massive victory for the right in this country, I'm staggered anyone can think otherwise. There are left-wing outers and valid criticisms but the out campaign has been entirely based on immigration and 'taking back control' and it has worked. Very, very scary for those on the left, this country is turning massively to the right.
I can't agree. If anything Farage and his line of argument was that of a lefty socialist.

Fantastic result, would have been a disgrace if we let a bunch of brainwashed uni kids vote our freedom away forever.

Yup, we're all brainwashed uni kids here.

All this talk of armageddon is obviously bollocks, but I am genuinely shocked about this. There will be a great deal of uncertainty in the coming weeks and months, but there's absolutely no reason why we can't prosper in the long-term.

Yet saying that, that's the Prime Minister gone. Surely Osborne will be gone soon, as will Corbyn (hopefully). Scotland will be independent soon as well. SO MUCH CHANGE.

Might not be a kid but brainwashed no doubt.

Being against uncontrolled immigration is seemingly right wing, go figure. New Labour opted against a veto so they could stagnate wages and oppress a class of people and anyone who raised eyebrows was castigated as a racist. That was not only right wing but authoritarian too. They brainwashed you all.

When they turned to right, you have a choice in life and they are clearly choosing populist, right-wing politics. City life is the only future, they are going to be left behind with our without the EU, I used to think we should try and help these people but now I have no time for them, they've betrayed us and they can reap the whirlwind.

Corbyn should leave immediately, he has been utterly pathetic in this.
Why do you want Corbyn to leave, surely now is the time for a real anti austerity, socialist Labour Party.

He's been utterly wet throughout the whole thing, allowed it all to be about Tory infighting. I'm sorry he's just not a leader, I agree with him on many things but we need someone who can take people on.

Corbyn obviously felt that if he went with his gut and backed leave he'd have been ousted.

So I'm brainwashed because I don't agree with your view?

Does that mean I can dismiss you as a xenophobic bigot for voting out?

My primary issue with Corbyn from day one.

I didn't vote, so no you fucking can't!

You were in favour of uncontrolled immigration then? Immigration is important for the strength of this country but it has to be to our benefit. We can now set about a points system that doesn't discriminate against people of the commonwealth, countries that helped build this country for centuries.

Agree that's the sense I've had all along.

Think you mean "Forced" to build this country for centuries rather than "Helped" btw.

It's obviously going to feel like a win for the right because so much of the out campaign had racial and xenophobic the undertones. The few people I know who voted out did so for immigration reasons and most of them simply don't like outsiders.

Yet it's clear if you had voted it would have resulted in a cross in the leave box.

You talk about me being brainwashed then claim staying in the EU equated to uncontrolled immigration?

Indeed. Probably all the more reason as to why we shouldn't discriminate against them, which as a member of the EU we were doing.

Puzzled. Free movement of people from a pool of 500m.

This from the FT is interesting.
The last point about "experts" is definitely one to take away from this campaign.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
German market currently taking a pounding this morning (no pun intended). Not just us.
Which demonstrates It's in both nations interests for the exit to run gracefully.

Elsewhere in Sweden:
"The Sweden Democrats will now increase pressure on the government and we demand that Sweden immediately begins to renegotiate the agreements we committed ourselves to. The most important thing for Sweden's prime minister should be Sweden's best, not the EU's best. Even Swedish people should have the opportunity to have their say on future EU membership in a referendum."

And you think that's going to change any time soon? And are you aware that there are more migrants into the UK from outside the EU? How are things going to change with that given that we already control that with the Visa system?

One thing that is going to be interesting, is whether we could see a sudden upturn rush of migration requests in the next 2-3 years between now and the completion of article 50, which might upset those on the far right of the Leave vote.

Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
Democracy is a wonderful thing, but sometimes it's like giving a toddler a box of matches.

I know quite a few people that haven't even the slighest clue that the biggest reason for our social and economic problems is having a government that is ideologically opposed to to social healthcare and social housing etc. They just watned to blame Johnny foreigner. In a couple of years time when the EU mogrants stop coming they truly believe our social and economoc problems will vanish in a puff of smoke.
