So, my only option seems to be the home sections. Pretty annoyed about how the tickets have been given out, but its this or nothing.

Might be worth holding fire a day or two and seeing if we get any more?

Looking at the stadium plan, I just dont see where they would put us as home fans have already got tickets.

I'm sure given the numbers, there are bound to be fans who are not going to be able to go. Why don't you put a shout out on your fans forum to see if there are any 'returns' that you can buy off them?

You may have already done this so apologies if I am pointing out the bleeding obvious! :)

I think theres a chance of a single ticket, but I need two and that makes it much harder. I'll see how it goes.

You‘ve had ages to get them, only yourself to blame surely!

A small number of additional tickets have been made available which will be done by ballot, fans who have missed out need to write up to 300 words how they've supported the club over the years and will be judged on a ballot basis if considered a regular.

We’ve gone full tinpot with that.

They should have just done a ballot for fans who attend any home or away game between now and the end of the year.

Joking about suicide on your second weird alias..

How many do you lot get at home, you know actual Vale fans? Some massive number I presume that’s far bigger than us.

Varies depending on how we are doing but if in the Top 6 usually far more than the 3600 you got last week after no league home game for a while!

5727 in our last promotion challenge (probably around 5400 average home)

Plus Vale are one of the few clubs who do not do attendances by tickets sold like a lot of clubs but actual people in the ground so don't include ST holders who dont turn up etc.

I’d say we are a bigger club than our current home attendance portrays. There are a lot of dormant people in the city who don’t attend regularly that would attach themselves to Vale and not Stoke. This game shows that the potential fan base is there, loads have come out of the woodwork.

Many lost to two awful regimes in charge ie V2001 followed by Smurf. Will take time but hopefully Carol will get them back.

Listen, yes they won’t all be Vale regulars but who cares? A decent day out and decent performance and it may persuade a few to go more often.

Just checked the Crewe v Cheltenham play off final attendance from 2012 - 24,000. No bandwagoners in there Alex fans?
Yes they’re banging on incessantly but they’re harmless

Or the extra couple of thousand bandwagoners who came to watch Crewe’s cup final against the Vale this season

Certainly not many Cheltenham ones, we only took 9,000 :ffs:

Fa cup returns this weekend with the 3rd round. Just the 5 league two teams left battling it out for 250 k for being the last remaining league 2 team.

Burton Albion Vs Northampton
Cardiff Vs Carlisle
Man City Vs Port Vale
Crewe
Vs Barnsley
Millwall Vs Newport

I think we've got a chance especially if we can get a few of our injured players back, mainly Nolan and Pickering. Hope we go all out for the win, could do without the replay. Barnsley have certainly improved though under there new manager. They do have a game tonight though, so a day less rest, may lead to them resting a few players.

From the rest Newport and Northampton both have a chance I think, from what I saw from Carlisle they will struggle at Cardiff, and as for Vale if they can keep the goals against less than 6 or score a goal them selves that would be a positive.

Should be a good day regardless of the result. The game looks like it is almost sold out completely so should make for a nice payday for Vale if nothing else.

If we can do better than the seven Stoke conceded there will take that as a win for us. Even better if we can somehow get a goal ourselves.

Not to bothered about the result to be honest as their squad is worth £1.15 billion so even a draw would be the biggest shock in FA Cup history such is the depth and gulf in squads, no L2 or L1 side would stand a chance.

Sad to say but in this day and age its all about the money we will make which should set us up nicely to continually improve post Smurf.

Should be an awesome atmosphere and a great laugh and if we can get a goal that would do me.

Can't see any of us getting through realistically, although Crewe and Northampton might force a replay.

Cobblers have a chance IMO, Crewe is a tricky one to call and could get a replay. All of us bar Crewe are away... if we all go out what happens? Do we get 50k each?
