Haha, I might rescind the 'prick', it's not just him to be fair, they look to book Pearson instantly for anything, as early as possible to make their lives easier. His yellow against Wigan was an absolute disgrace.

Last night would probably be a yellow in the 80th minute but you would think common sense would prevail for the first foul of the game.

Fisher got booked for being pinned down to the floor by James McLean.

Can't see many neutrals watching that game last night but i'd be interested to hear their viewpoint.

I feel for him, because we're his first managerial job and he hasn't had a lot of time and space to develop his own philosophy. I increasingly get the sense that he is trying to live up to a mythical Millwall ethos, which vaguely refers to a sense of hardwork and determination. We're in a bit of a bind, really, because he's a unifying force: our average gates are the highest they've been for decades partly because our fanbase values tradition and Harris is part of the Millwall tradition.

But Harris seems to think this tradition is a one of brainless direct football and lots of running about. That we should be 100% reactive and treat the ball as an end in itself: something to be tackled and intercepted, rather than as something to be retained and moved about. This is an absolutely bizarre reversal, as the Harris of the Millwall imaginary is the striker with magnificent natural ability, who was the icon of one of our most talented and successful sides, who scored some of the best individual goals I've seen in the flesh, who indeed is still our all-time top goalscorer.

It would be nice if we would get that Harris and not the Harris who tries to second guess what The. Millwall. Way. is -- as if that has ever been anything other than a myth. If anything the Millwall way is in a perverse way anti-traditional, it's telling it how it is: if we aren't winning, fucking change it. If we're playing badly, fucking change it. If the football is shit, fucking change it. If there hasn't been improvement over the long term, fucking change it.

We have Wigan at home on Saturday. The season has started off positively with a new manager, new team and a new vibe around the place. We are playing the best football in years but we are making so many stupid mistakes that are costing us goals. All 3 on Wednesday were errors rather than good play by Swansea which is the most frustrating thing.

If we don't beat Wigan then that positive vibe will soon turn into panic mode.

I can't make this game as I have NCT classes this weekend but I am hopeful for a home win, 2-0. We need a clean sheet for confidence.

It will be interesting to see if Barbet will be dropped. On one hand, he has been playing brilliantly but on the other, in between playing brilliantly he gifts a bloody goal.

Off the back of a good 3 points against Luton I'd be happy to take a point away from home as I expect PNE will be pushing towards the top 10 again this season. Fox will probably keep his place at left back as Palmer is 50/50 to make it, Lee comes back in for either Reach or Murphy, think Luongo will have to remain patient at the moment but he's a good option off the bench.
