Reason is ask is hes one of my best mates lol. Will feedback

Haha, I might rescind the 'prick', it's not just him to be fair, they look to book Pearson instantly for anything, as early as possible to make their lives easier. His yellow against Wigan was an absolute disgrace.

Last night would probably be a yellow in the 80th minute but you would think common sense would prevail for the first foul of the game.

Fisher got booked for being pinned down to the floor by James McLean.

Can't see many neutrals watching that game last night but i'd be interested to hear their viewpoint.

To be honest mate, I tell him all the time, officiating in the Champ is WOEFUL. For everyone.

Seems worse than ever, not sure everyone is one the same wavelength in terms of current rulings. I'm convinced no one else on the pitch would have been booked for Pearson's challenge last night though.

You’re telling me a 1-0 against a mid table championship side where you were good but ultimately had 2/3 good chances, is the best you’ve ever seen? There was me thinking you actually had a relatively decent recent history where you caused some waves in the Prem.

Guess we are still quite a big draw for teams

In terms of performance levels, energy, passing, movement etc then it’s right up there.

We were decent in the Premier League but an Alan Curbishley side never played like that.

Forest are far from a big draw

Fishers booking was for pushing McLean, after McLean had got off of him.

Have to see it again but I didn't think fisher touched him as one of our players got in between them.

I was only half watching until that point. 90% sure he pushed him though.

After that I was expecting either Fisher or McLean to get sent off. Definitely became a bit of a running battle.

Got good feet for a big bloke, final ball isn't always there but was a nice cross to find Taylor for the goal.

Always need some Bowie.

I'm liking the Dancing Queen one for Andre Green too.
I like the one you had for Huntingdon, "Cumbrian Cannavaro" — always reminds me of when Tom was filming himself bouncing round the away end at Fulham singing that in the 90th minute and whoever you had in goal came for the ball from a cross, dropped it, they scored and the camera stopped shaking

I saw Lyle Taylor score a hat trick for Wimbledon a few years back despite looking like he’d never played football. If you told me he’d be scoring goals in the championship I’d have laughed back then

It's fucking ridiculous what he gets booked for. I'm not surprised he can't keep his mouth shut either when getting booked for tackles that aren't even fouls at times, must seriously piss him off.

It would be nice if we could keep Harris to do the motivational, interpersonal side of things and get someone else to do, errr, everything else.

I feel for him, because we're his first managerial job and he hasn't had a lot of time and space to develop his own philosophy. I increasingly get the sense that he is trying to live up to a mythical Millwall ethos, which vaguely refers to a sense of hardwork and determination. We're in a bit of a bind, really, because he's a unifying force: our average gates are the highest they've been for decades partly because our fanbase values tradition and Harris is part of the Millwall tradition.

But Harris seems to think this tradition is a one of brainless direct football and lots of running about. That we should be 100% reactive and treat the ball as an end in itself: something to be tackled and intercepted, rather than as something to be retained and moved about. This is an absolutely bizarre reversal, as the Harris of the Millwall imaginary is the striker with magnificent natural ability, who was the icon of one of our most talented and successful sides, who scored some of the best individual goals I've seen in the flesh, who indeed is still our all-time top goalscorer.

(Fucking hell, that finish, 1:43)

It would be nice if we would get that Harris and not the Harris who tries to second guess what The. Millwall. Way. is -- as if that has ever been anything other than a myth. If anything the Millwall way is in a perverse way anti-traditional, it's telling it how it is: if we aren't winning, fucking change it. If we're playing badly, fucking change it. If the football is shit, fucking change it. If there hasn't been improvement over the long term, fucking change it.

Fuck 'tradition', Neil. Fucking change it.

We have Wigan at home on Saturday. The season has started off positively with a new manager, new team and a new vibe around the place. We are playing the best football in years but we are making so many stupid mistakes that are costing us goals. All 3 on Wednesday were errors rather than good play by Swansea which is the most frustrating thing.

If we don't beat Wigan then that positive vibe will soon turn into panic mode.

I can't make this game as I have NCT classes this weekend but I am hopeful for a home win, 2-0. We need a clean sheet for confidence.

It will be interesting to see if Barbet will be dropped. On one hand, he has been playing brilliantly but on the other, in between playing brilliantly he gifts a bloody goal.

Isn't it great to see Stoke struggling? Odious club, bonehead fans, shithole of an area.

Never liked them.

They have wanker players as well like McLean, Ince, Allen and Shawcross.

Get in the bin.

Good football but shipping cheap goals? The Warburton way. He won't adapt either, resulting in him losing him job as a result.

Barbet has given away two penalties and a goal so far, so he has cost us 50% of the goals himself.

Footballs been brilliant with him so far, even more impressive as we had 14 or so new players so I am still confident he'll do well here.

Away at Preston tomorrow, a ground that we never seem to be able to win at, last win must be about 2011. Off the back of a good 3 points against Luton I'd be happy to take a point away from home as I expect PNE will be pushing towards the top 10 again this season. Fox will probably keep his place at left back as Palmer is 50/50 to make it, Lee comes back in for either Reach or Murphy, think Luongo will have to remain patient at the moment but he's a good option off the bench.

Westwood

Odubajo
Lees
Borner
Fox

Lee
Hutchinson
Bannan

Harris
Fletcher
Reach

Subs- Dawson, Iorfa, Bates, Luongo, Forestieri, Murphy, Rhodes

Preston North End 1-1 Wednesday
Fletcher 62'
Barkhuizen 88'

Tough game tomorrow. A point would be okay but we really need to try and get another 3 points to build some momentum at Deepdale. Our home form has been pretty poor the past 2 seasons and needs to improve if we want to stand any chance of being in the mix at the end of the season.

There's no point in trying to second guess the team at the minute but I'd go.

Rudd

Fisher
Bauer
Davies
Hughes (if fit but doubtful so Rafferty)

Pearson
Gallagher

Bodin
Johnson
Harrop

Stockley
