Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Two wins in nine for Jurgen Flopp

It takes a brave/idiotic man/child to post that a mere two days before one of the teams he supports faces said "flopp" away at Anfield.

Big potential for egg on the face here.

Nah cos it will Rodgers' fault if Liverpool lose anyway.

Good effort of Klopp to get them all the way to the League Cup final before Rodgers fucking it up by buying shit players.

I like Klopp, but he is one dimensional. His style will result in the occasional whooping for teams that fall apart early but with the defensive soundness even the lower teams are proficient in he'll always score an average run of form.

I dunno, tactically he is pretty malleable but he is going to have to bring in some real talent in the summer to get this side firing the way he likes and we'll then see if its good enough to climb Liverpool up the league and into some success in the midterm.

Who do you reckon from the current squad is good enough?

I'm not a huge fan of Klopp, not in comparison to most anyway. I've been quite critical of him since those first 15 minutes at Spurs were up and we went back to being the same old Liverpool.

But it doesn't take much to see that aside from a certain few managers, transfers make or break most tenures, especially in the premier league. That's it. So until he's bought a single player, it's fair to wait before labelling him a flop.

He started 5pts off though, so by all accounts he's (almost) keeping the pace. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that we catch City, but leapfrogging West Ham, United and City seems a bit far fetched. Especially if we progress in the Europa.

I'd give us a 10% chance.

Just noticed Klopps win ratio of 46% is FAR worse then Brenda's 52%..............goes to show how easily the media can brainwash the plastics.

Poor Johnny. Although it's understandable perhaps. It can't be easy to see your superior and infinitely more celebrated neighbours on the up with a classy, much liked manager at the helm. Only for your own team to be on the decline, whilst having a drab, defensive no-mark like Martnez oversee an impressive 1 win in 9 league games. Allowances need to be made for him. :hypo:

Watch an interview with him. Everything that goes wrong is someone else's fault, mainly the referees.

This season was always going to be a "treat the water" type with Klopp. He's done well to go to two finals but the real judgement will be made next season. If we win Europa then it's a success from when he was hired. We've had some great performances and results and you can tell the direction he wants us to go in as a club but at times has failed to implement it. With a summer and some new signings behind him I'd assume we'll see more of a push towards the top 4. If we fail to win the Europa then this season has been the worst for quite some time.. but that's not solely down to Klopp. I like his desire, passion and attitude and it's reflecting on the players now. The whole season basically rests on next Wednesday, but it's not as if he'll be judged badly by anyone other than Everton or United fans if we lose. He'll obviously be given time.
