Rich Cawley is usually quite good in fairness to him so would be surprised if there was absolutely nothing in it.

I'm fairly confident Ajose won't be a Charlton player by the end of tomorrow, although I guess it all depends on whether we bring a replacement in first.
Seems like we're in for a loan and if no-one comes in to buy him or offer a better deal in any case then he will come here, imagine that's how all our transfers go tbh.

Does seem that way.

I can't see how we can let him go without bringing anyone in at the moment though, guess that's why we've been holding out.

One thing for sure though, Robinson does not fancy him one bit and has even publicly said that so while he's the manager, I don't see a future for Ajose here.

Can't say I'm bothered, I just hope he moves on and scores loads so I can at least win my 1FF bet with Jockney!

Looks like we're getting Stephy Mavididi on loan from Arsenal, opening the door for Ajose to go now.

Another loan ffs, we now have six and you're only allowed five in a matchday squad. Looks like Ulvested is going to get bombed.

Shrimpurh you beat me to it, looks like it.

Yeah seems we were interested in Mavididi too according to our journo. I think Ajose will come now as long as no-one else goes for him tomorrow. Dominic Samuel who we are also interested in will probably end up at Rotherham or somewhere like that

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised although I should be, we are 6 points off the play-offs and 4 behind Southend. Mental decision to lend him to a side chasing the same target we're supposed to be.

Apparently we're in talks with Anthony Grant of Port Vale.

We've known about it for weeks now. A club (most likely Posh) agreed a fee then lowered it last minute a few weeks back.

Great player shit attitude. He will want out in a few months.

We're meant to be spending actual money on Jamie Proctor now, panic stations have been reached.

Just got to hope that whilst this has been dragging on we have been working behind the scenes to find a replacement for him
According to a few of our lot It's Ben Williams and we have Just signed Jim Murphy on loan from Hudds.

Will we be getting someone capable of stepping in as a No.1 at this level if that is the case?

Ben Williams is alright enough filler until the end of the season for a realistic mid table finish

Not Really,
Bradford fans were spot on, needs a good defense. Burys defense is well, shite.

We have killed any confidence he had. Murphy is our 16TH keeper in 4 years, go figure.

Not a great keeper tbh. Pretty much half responsible for us conceding a lot of goals this season. It seemed that if the other team got a shot on target it went in. Maybe it's just not worked out for him here but I don't know.

So a club 11 points from safety in the Championship think the best approach to clawing this deficit back is to sign a player from a club who are 8 points from safety in the division below?

I think the problem we are faced with is whoever we get in, they won't be on the level of Jak Alnwick. Could be a defining part of our season this could, and not in a good way

I see the albino JJH liked your post despite Bristol City being in pole position to sign Willis at the start of the week.

It's an excellent signing, Willis is by far and away the best of an awful bunch at Coventry where the clubs a fucking joke.

We'll give survival a good go but if worse comes to the worse we'll fucking walk league one with the players we have for next year and beyond already.

Another fantastic quote to bookmark and bring up at a later date when these his usual arrogant claims about Rotherham United don't come off.

Name me one that hasn't come off?

Said we'd stay up first year in the championship, we did.

Said we'd stay up the second year, we did.

Said we'd go down this year, we will.

We will piss this division next season. Bookmark that, favourite it, do what you fucking want but it'll happen.

Why are we so fucking useless. I actually wanted Ajose... we play 442 in a way he could just sit up top in the middle and hopefully stick the ball in the net.
