We have resigned Ali Koiki on a 2 year deal. Very happy with that as expected he would leave. As he is under 24 we would have been due some compo and that probably meant his options were a bit more limited. Provides pace and an attacking threat from LB.

Very much need wingers and strikers in the coming weeks.

Omar Beckles signs a new two year deal with us. I wouldn't have been too bothered if he moved on, can be quite pedestrian sometimes and will cost us goals at this level I think.

Did i say Barton wasnt though? Warne was a bit of a nob in his interview after we got a late equaliser thats all im going from

He said you deserved a point but that it wasn’t a penalty? I actually had no issue with the penalty personally - not that it wasn’t dubious but we had far worse given against us this season and Warne said nothing. We got hosed by the EFL and refs this season - roughly 20% of the goals we conceded were from penalties.

Looks like Connor Ripley is about to be unveiled. Our fans have been clamouring for him so would be a happy fan base!

Daily Record in Scotland are reporting we’ve made a 6 figure bid for Aussie midfielder Keanu Baccus.

Would be another position filled and would continue the good boding ahead of the new season.

Connor Ripley confirmed, absolutely delighted after suffering Jack Stevens and to a lesser degree Aidan Stone both with the lowest save percentage’s we sign the keeper with one the best stats last year.

Fans buzzing with that one and that’s one key problem from last year sorted.

New training gear is nice.!

Always said goalkeeper is the most important position on the pitch to get right and we have been deficient at it for quite a while across multiple keepers. Anything that improves this and from I’ve seen of Ripley in the past he certainly does that has to welcomed.

I’m fine with it. Good partnership with Happe, assuming Dan stays.

Been told that Paul Smyth is now likely to go full circle and re-sign for QPR, two years after they let him go and kept shipping him out on loan all the time.

We’re after Alfie Pond and Nathan Fraser from Wolves.

Interestingly, ex Exeter manager Matt Taylor described Alfie Pond as somebody who would become “a serious player” according to his wiki page.

Pond was very highly thought of and would have undoubtedly played a fair number of games for us in L1 last season. But he was snapped up by Wolves and is probably going to have a number of loans in the next 2-3 years. Should do well for you.

We’ve not got it right since Brown left have we…

Covolan was bonkers, Holy and Stevens never seemed to save anything and Stone whilst has potential shouldn’t be number one in league one at this stage yet.

Glad we’ve got it sorted and hopefully improves us defensively, get a tall experienced centre half and the central four will be good to go… just then the strikers and full backs!

No and knowing what we have since I’d have kept Brown rather than let him go. Of those Lucas as a keeper was the best but the last characteristic I want in a keeper is being a loose cannon and as much as I am sure many folk would love to kung fu kick McKirdy his card was marked since that. Stone to be honest if he was out of contract I’d have gotten rid of him, I just couldn’t watch another game of him flapping at crosses.

Think the next priority is wingback to strengthen both sides. We really need some pace and dynamism out there if we are going to use this formation.

Ryan Jackson has confirmed he's leaving Cheltenham - I'm gutted. For a journeyman type player brought in at the last minute, he was outstanding last season.

Seems like the first time in for ages that we've actually signed someone that other teams in our league might have wanted. I'm pretty pleased with our 2 recruits so far. More of this please.

Wellens confirmed on BBC London this evening that Vigouroux has all but signed for Burnley and that Paul Smyth is all but gone too.

Likely to see Dan Happe sign his contract extension tomorrow.

We also now need a goal keeper has we currently don't have any contracted!

Will be disappointing to see Smyth go, such an exciting player to watch, but you can't blame him wanting another crack at the championship. If he can stay injury free, he's good enough.

I think it's pretty poor from Smyth to be honest.
Unproven at that level and far too injury prone.

He could've been playing regular league 1 football for us, and he's choosing to warm the bench at QPR again, seems strange to me but I suppose money does talk.

Shame as he's probably the most exciting player I've see in my 30 odd years at the Orient.

Watch him get a bad injury early doors and that's his season done.

The jump for keepers between League One and the Championship must be huge. Connor Ripley seems reliable down here yet he's one of the worst I've seen play for PNE.

Likewise, thought he was one of our most consistent players last season and must have had a fair few assists. Two RWBs needed now.

Expecting Rob Street to be announced today, the first of what will need to be quite a few signings.

JP says Street is there today and going through the fitness tests, but for some reason it's not likely to be announced until later next week for some reason.

Alex Lacovitti has joined from Ross County, ex Forest and than a few clubs in L2 so dont know a great deal about him but seems a tall defender which we need!

Looks massive and seemingly well thought of at Ross County. Can't take too much from that because the standard is shite up there but we're building a big team with a big presence, which I think is how we'll compete. If we turn up on matchdays and look much bigger than the opposition I think that's a plus point.

I've said before that with the best will in the world, we aren't going to out football the Derbys and Boltons , but if we can beat them physically we have half a chance. Like Luton's approach and Wycombe.

Never heard of the lad until about 20 minutes ago but left footed and seems like a big unit so it would appear to be the Connor Hall replacement.

Yep just seen that, seems odd. A very 'Cheltenham' thing to do.
