If ever a game was spoiled by a red card it was ours today. Both teams playing ok, we've just scored and are edging it when Josh Payne jumps in with his studs showing and catches the Stevenage player. Ref had no option but to send him off and after that it was attack against defence and very dull.

Interesting you say both teams were ok, the Stevenage summariser on our local radio was positively scathing about them, said something along the lines of it was one of the worst performances he has seen and he is fed up up of covering for their manager!

I thought Satanage got worse after the sending off. Their get up and go got up and went. Apart from a great save near the end Morris had bugger all to do.

Well, there's ok and ok. Don't forget we often start without a forward on the pitch ( we did today) so my ok this season is most other peoples dull. What I should have said was that both teams were trying to pass it about and testing the other defence.

I did notice that Godden hurt his knee in the first minute and he wasn't moving as well as he normally does and seeing he is their main threat it probably hampered their efforts this afternoon.

Happy with the points as I still think we are one of the worst teams in this division and if we don't strengthen we could well fall down the table.

We are having no luck at all with serious injuries, with Vincenti we now have had three major ACL injuries putting them out for the season. Jodi Jones and Andreu have been huge losses to us.
I personally think with all the injuries we've had we have done really well to be in the top six all season.
We do need to get people in Jan transfer market. We do have already the lad from Reading but we need a couple more attacking players especially out wide.
Obviously to bring people in we have to either sell or loan out a couple, just hope it isn't one of our promising youngsters

Yet another defender injured means we're missing 4,a midfielder at right back and a shit player De Havilland in the middle of defence :ffs: Bean is on the bench but Bloomfield starts in midfield we're fecked! Cowan-Hall missing up front as well after being whacked on both legs on Saturday. Our front 3 looks good with Mackail-Smith,Freeman and The Beast who will need to bang in a few as our defence will be overun, can see a high scoring game 3-2 to either side.

Sam Cosgrove starts up front for us today, I've only seen him play once and he looked completely out of his depth.

Either 3-0 Mansfield or 2-2.

Worst case scenario is he’s as shit as Bennett.

I am expecting an easy win for mansfield today.

One positive is it sounds as though Cosgrove is doing everything you'd expect a tall striker to do, won everything in the air so far.

Yeah sounds like he’s wom more in the air in 20 minutes than Bennett has all season

If only Bennett on a 6 month deal not a 2 year :ffs:

Grainger having one of his off days. He has quite a lot of them to be honest, he's a luxury player really. Provides goals, but not much in the way of solidity or consistency.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Fuck off Curle, and take your shite signings and the corrupt owners with you.

We turned to shit after Christmas last season, and suffered relegation form. The worrying thing is if we do that again this season which is looking likely at the moment, we don’t have a solid first half season as a foundation to save us.

The sooner this season is over the better.

If the board really want to save this season, they’ll sack Curle tonight, get someone else in and give him the whole of January to try to rectify Curle’s recruitment fuck ups.

If they are happy with the season going no where, or worse being dragged into a relegation battle, then they’ll do nothing.

Let’s see. I think we all know what our unambitious parasite owners will do...

And conceded another straight after just to make sure there's no hope. Had a good feeling about this one earlier for some reason.

Fantastic first half for us at Crewe only 2-0 down, last year it was 4-0 at half time so massive signs of improvement shown there, get the fuck in!

This is gonna end 3 or 4 nil if we're lucky, Dixon Woodford and Vernon all starting pure quality line up. :2thumb:
