I would say that anything less than a win tomorrow and the game's up for Carlisle.

They had their chance to capitalize on a great result at Northampton with what looked a nice easy run of fixtures, but garnered only two points out of a possible 12 from them.

This really is their best chance to get three points from now on, as Hartlepool visit them on the last day and it's unlikely that their fate will be decided one way or the other.

Now I've answered this, I'll turn it around... If we lose tomorrow, do you think we're all but relegated?
I think we could pull something out the bag in the 3 tough games just as we did against Northampton. We don't seem to play well in front of big crowds and, if we lose tomorrow, the next home crowd will be tiny so we could win then. So, short, no I don't think we'll be down but we'll be relying on a win in one of the games that we're heavy underdogs in.

Carlisle could not win tomorrow and be 4 points above Tranmere, I really am struggling with the Pessimism from Carlisle fans, it's going to take a big effort for Tranmere to win 2 of thier last 5 , of all the teams at the bottom it is they who have the hardest task, not impossible , but hard

I'm not sure why but as today's progressed i've slowly been getting a good feeling about tomorrow. Think we might nick it with a a goal from that man Charlie Wyke who, alongside Kyle Dempsey, has been synonymous with anything good about us since January.

The reality is that you don't have bad players, just a manager , time for them to be professional, in all my routes for Pools to survive I've stuck you down for 3 points here

That's the thing, and I'm hoping that after this week the players will realise that everyone outside the club thinks Curle is a wanker as well. Apparently they've been organising meetings between themselves to try and sort things out so clearly all faith in the management has been lost. If they show up at all tomorrow, maybe grab an early goal, then I think we'll do alright. Anything less embarrassing than Accrington would be good.

I wonder if Curle still reckons we're going to give someone a 'battering' by the end of the season. I'd happily settle for a 1-0 win tomorrow though, with Tranmere, Hartlepool and Cheltenham losing too.

We have the easiest game of the bottom 4, so really need to capitalise.

Your right , players revolts are not normally welcome, but the way Curle has handled all this is quite frankly laughable , Curle picks the team and makes the subs but surely the players can organise themselves even given that restriction

He's living in a fantasy land if he thinks this lot will batter anyone. He also said recently that we'll be comfortably safe by the time we play Hartlepool.

I'm starting to wonder if he's even sober when he attends these press conferences.

No they're not. They could still be caught and overtaken on gd. Though it would be very unlikely.

I'm impressed we managed to go a whole 7 minutes before we went behind.

York down to 10 men
Tranmere losing.

I think Tranmere losing is the crucial result

We would be 6 and 8 clear of the bottom 2 with 4 games to play.

Just happens that on Tuesday we entertain Tranmere - if we can avoid defeat in that - it would be a massive boost to the likes of us, York and Cambridge

Yippee! Cheltenham behind.

My thoughts exactly Vanni. :2thumb: Took us long enough to score after bossing the 1st half weneed another to calm our nerves, if Cheltenham lose i'd say that's it for them.

Hartlepool losing is a big one as well, thought they would've got something out of that especially with York being better away.

Hate to say I told you so but I've always stood by my prediction of Pools and Cheltenham to go down. Sorry Chelts and Poolies.

Big results today.

We are 5 clear of hartlepool 6 infront of tranmere and 8 ahead of cheltenham with 12 to pay for.

I said all along carlisle would beat dagenham - its one of those games you expect to win (much like when sides play us)

If we can avoid defeat on Tuesday it'll be massive

Bye everyone. I only wanted one season in L2 after relegation, getting my wish I suppose.
