Very true but tbh we didn’t need him we had the best assist man in the league (Ben Davies) and the best finisher (Lee Hughes)

I wanted Mansfield to sign Dennis purely for his finishing, Rose, Angol are all round better players but sometimes you need somebody clinical in front of goal. Wish we were in for him.

FYI Hemmings if signed should not be played on the wing and I doubt he will be lol, like I said his biggest trait is leading the line uptop. Something most fans will not appreciate btw.

I think Nolan's on holiday (our assistant has been doing the introducing the new signings thing), he's going to get home and punch him. Nolan's face whenever someone brings up Hardy's Twitter account in an interview is an underrated source of ongoing entertainment.

And you did it with 10 men because Luke Rodgers was offside for 90 minutes. Apart from when he scored after 15 seconds against us at SB from our KO...

Got to admit, that Munto season was surreal. I walked around to the turnstiles at SB, and there was Sven just walking along like he was some normal bloke at a footy game.

I’d of had him but at the same time I’ll not lose any sleep over him not returning.

A lot were critical of him at the start of the season as he was clearly unfit and some people just can’t admit they got it wrong so have continued to slag him off all season. A fully fit Kane Hemmings will score 20 goals next season, He might miss a fair few chances but there’s a reason he’s in the 4th division.

A risk it maybe but I’d hope we can try and get someone else to score 20+ for less than 3k a week.

Surreal indeed, left work one lunchtime/early afternoon to go to a mates house to watch the biggest and only story on Sky Sports News that day!

For £3k a week, no. Not good enough. Wasn’t good enough for us last season -missed the most basic of chances and won’t lose any sleep over him not coming here. We should be doing better for that amount of money.

I can see us going 3-5-2, particularly if we're looking to bring Ben Hall back on loan. Would explain the surplus of central midfielders as well. Dan Jones and Tootle are perfect as wing backs, and Kellett can fill in there when Jones is inevitably injured.

I'm still a bit nervous about Dan Jones signing a new contract. He certainly put himself in the shop window in those 2 play-off games - wouldn't be surprised if he's got a few offers.
