Graeme Jones set to become Luton manager at the end of the season, after he was sacked yesterday by WBA. He had been assistant to Roberto Martinez at Wigan, Everton and Belgium.

Saves us a bit of cash at least.

According to the Mail Luton have already agreed compensation because the deal for him to take over at the end of the season had already been done, bit weird to have to pay a club for someone who is no longer employed by them.

He's clearly the man the Board wanted all along so have to back them and look forward to the appointment.

Talking about strange moves, rumour has it former manager, assistant manager under Richard Money, and chief scout Gary Brabin will become the assistant manager again under Graeme Jones in the summer. Better remember to look after his mate "Cardy" too...

Feel extremely sorry for Steve Rutter if that is the case considering that since he joined the club, we've lost just 1 league game.

Its come from the same journalist who originally linked us to Graeme Jones apparently. Where he has got it from ive no idea though. They were both at Everton at the same time, Jones with Martinez and the first team and Brabin looking at youth team stuff I believe.

Dont think Jones has even been confirmed as having the role yet though so could all just be a load of rubbish.
