Ian Holloway, Mike Flynn, Paul Hurst & Darrell Clarke seems to the names doing the rounds to replace Adams. I’d be happy with any of those.

Must have been something seriously wrong at Plymouth for them to make this call. Wasn't Adams in charge of pretty much everything, football-wise?

There's been talk of him falling out with some of the players, so it looks like one last throw of the dice to try to get the players up for the big Scunny game.

Yep he wasn't just first team manager, he managed all football goings on, leaving the board to concentrate on our current off the field situation. Perhaps this contributed - too much load on one pair of shoulders. The first team have certainly underachieved.

At least we'll eventually have the newest shiniest stand in L2...

Will be interesting to see what the role of the replacement is - we may have to get 2 or 3 in to cover him. Interestingly we recruited a new Head of Recruitment last week.

Holloway gone into evens favourite... great if we get the old Ollie, but I'm not so sure. Certainly has unfinished business here and owes the fans one. No smoke without fire?

Not sure about Holloway, his teams need money. The benefit of Adam’s was that he has success on no money. And we have no money, and Adam’s going is going to cost us. Still if Holloway comes back maybe he will get Smeaton’s Tower finally painted Green and White!

Colin is talking about leaving Cardiff, I wonder if he will have a role to play? Not as manager, but in some other capacity. He still has a house down this neck of the woods, so working in some capacity here might be attractive to him.

Graeme Jones confirmed as our next manager. Never managed before but been assistant at various places including Belgium at the World Cup. Will take over on Tuesday but it’s all been agreed since February apparently. Has been doing Micks scouting role since leaving West Brom in March apparently so he has been involved.

Likely to take another 30 years with the shite you've been signing this summer.

This is Blackpool's level, enjoy it.

Harshly sacked by WBA imo but this will show how good of a manager he is when he's having to recruit his own players this time.

Not sure I can actually forgive him for that celebration after that knobhead Clarke scored goal via fouling our centre back. When you won the world cup that time.

Obviously still grates with no chance to even the score.

Great night.

Great night.

Was that the night you invaded the pitch at full time lol. It still makes me laugh at the pointlessness of that invasion.

We love a pitch invasion, we had one away at Morecambe in the Jpt.

Yet, we've still got the ultimate season ahead of anything in your clubs recent history. That PNE Online thread is ace.

Probably the best news you've heard recently?

Reason to get a new manager ASAP now without paying him off

Win win surely
