Really hoping Rovers come up, although I HATE their number 9, Harrison - Horrible player, somehow got away with punching our keeper right in the face, and also ran over to celebrate an equaliser with....our fans, not his own.

What your time wasting keeper trying to hold on to the ball so we couldn't equalise?....that worked out well.

FFS Wycombe. You only needed to hold on a little bit longer! It's ok, you can make it up to us next week ;)

Had a feeling someone would slip up today, fair play to ourselves, Accy and Oxford for all winning potential banana skins.

Yeah, I was expecting Stanley to slip up but they didn't, which would've been great news for you boys. Plymouth may have slipped up but did anyone really see them making the autos even if they had beat us today?

Guaranteed a match with Argyle now. Just not sure which order the legs will be played and need the FL to confirm the dates, too.

Never thought Plymouth would have, even if they won. They'd have needed too many teams to drop points and make up an inferior goal difference.

As for dates, I think it has been confirmed, no? Saw it somewhere on our forum last week. Obviously we just need next week's games to confirm who's at home first

The dates have been confirmed but it's currently just "Match A" and "Match B" with Sky to determine which tie is which.

Of course, the team who finishes top gets advantage of playing the 2nd leg at home.

Accrington will go up, it just now depends on whether Oxford can hold their nerve at home as Rovers will win their home game next week.

Glad it's in our hands, very nervous about Wycombe game though, although we're the better team, in better form you just never know on the day, well done Rovers and Accy on holding your nerve

I think OUFC would really have to go some to fvck it up next week, and no that's not some shit attempt at reverse psychology or false modesty.

I couldn't bear to check out the stats of our game in the second half but in the first we had zero shots on target. Not the first time that's happened either. Score first and you're pretty much there.

Well done Wimbledon, I really hope you go on to win the PO's.

From what I saw of Plymouth today, they have no chance of winning them.

I think I'm consigned to the fact Oxford and Accy are up now regardless of what happens with us next week. Fair play to em, they've put together some bloody good results over recent weeks, don't think the opposition will provide too many problems next week. Would be amazed if there were any twists now.

For us, being the form team going into the play-offs is important. It helped us last year, and you'd like to think it can help again. Wombles will be no push over if we do manage to stay in 4th spot, but I like to think this lot can beat anyone over two legs.

On form should be a Pompey v brizzle final. However it's a lottery now so who knows.

However Pompey not keeping Michael Smith for the playoffs smacks of poor planning. Or maybe not expecting to need him.

Was the only option to take him.
We did sign someone else as cover but seems to be permanently injured and won't be match fit.

Smith had already played for Swindon and Barnsley this season so was only allowed on a 93 day emergency loan. We needed someone in to fill the gap from Lavery going back so couldn't wait any longer.

I don't expect us to win them so on the basis of that I will take my chances with either option except the Wed night away trip to accrington. No ta.

Feeling good Gassy, not been able to do much this week mind...

I think it helps that we are in a less pressured situation; we are ready for the play-offs if it doesn't happen on Saturday. I'd feel far worse if it was a 'win or bust' scenario sat in 2nd or 3rd and we screwed it up.

As long as we win on Saturday, that's all we can ask for. Whilst my fingers are crossed for something else to happen, I'm not expecting it by any stretch.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. I said to my dad last weekend that the pressure is off now and actually, I feel more relaxed that I did against York last weekend, he actually replied,"Can I have some of what you're having?"

Flying back tomorrow evening for the game, so I fully expect when sitting on the plane, that the nerves will start to kick in.
