It's a bit odd, as everyone has a reasonably winnable game. I guess it's less stressful knowing it's not in your own hands anymore.

It's tense. Stanley have sold out, so set for a record attendance in the league for us (since we returned to the league). Even with some of our players returning from injury, coleman usually sticks with a winning team.

I'm on nights and doing a hundred mile round trip before and after the game. I'm counting on the adrenaline to get me there and back safe.

Yes it will be great to see a full house - especially after last season when a couple of our attendance dropped below 1000. As Tom says I don't expect any changes to the starting 11...
Just glad I have a season ticket so managed to avoid the ticket queues this week :-)

Can't see Oxford or Stanley slipping up if I'm honest.

Wycombe haven't won in 7 games and are 4th bottom of the current form table.

Stanley have the 4th best home record in the league and Stevenage the 6th worst away. Accrington have picked up twice as many points at home than Stevenage have away.

Doesn't sound like Oxford or Stanley have many significant injuries and with so much to play for it's hard to see anything other than 2 home wins. Particularly as their opposition are probably already thinking about their summer holiday.

If they were going to slip up I think it would have been last week but they both held their nerve and got impressive wins.

It would be quite a balls up for either to drop points on Saturday so I think we're going to have to do it the hard way, starting with a tricky 2 leg tie against Wimbledon.

We have everyone bar Ryan Taylor available, although several aren't really 100%

Those saying they can't see us slipping up, whilst I love your optimism you either haven't seen our home form, or some of the games we've dropped points in this season, i'm hopeful, and mildly confident the occasion and the shitness of the opposition will help our lads, but i'm more nervous about this than I was the play off final

I'd rather believe it's pessimism in our case

I'm feeling OK at the moment, I have settled for the playoffs, it's been a great season so far I'm just pleased we got out of the conference and are playing league football again tbh. But an hour before kick off tomorrow I'll be nervous just thinking of what can happen between 3pm-5pm.
If Oxford and accy are to win tomorrow I'd rather they both went 2-0 up in the first five minutes so I can enjoy the game without everyone checking the scores every other minute.

You lot are better people than me then, because I'm absolutely crapping myself ahead of tomorrow. The scenarios of us going up, us winning but Accrington and Oxford also winning or (nightmare scenario) Oxford or Accrington slipping up and us blowing our chances by also slipping up haven't left my mind all week. I seem to change my mind on the outcome every five minutes

Just to stir it up I think there will be a goal after 85+ minutes that changes everything. Not sure in which game though :2thumb:

I can actually see us slipping up tomorrow a little. Dagenham suddenly became decent and will no doubt sit back and put 11 men behind the ball to cause an upset. Just to make it worse while we draw, I can also see the other teams drawing too

Yep, found a stream for the Stanley match and imo, they didn't do enough, although Stevenage had a very good game tbf. Still, I'm glad the Gas went up as the only thing that matters to me is the club I support and I always want the stronger sides to go up and make the league a little easier next year.

Can't be too down after today, alot of the first team got a rest and with Oxford and Bristol Rovers going up automatically if we can get to Wembley I'll be alot more confident.

Congrats to Rovers and Oxford, well done to you both. Commiserations to Accrington but I hope they can get it together for the play offs and get up. They've been class this season.

Firstly, apologies Accy. Horrible feeling and I hope you can recover in the play-offs (although I want the Wombles to win it, purely so they can do over MK next season :D)

Secondly, what a bloody brilliant day. Gassy summed up my thoughts in the match thread, it was sheer emotion. Agony and disappointment to absolute ecstasy. Incredible stuff.

Didn't think I'd be saying bye this early to be honest... great forum here as there is in non-league. Will keep tabs with what's going on next season. Nice to see some good comments, even from the Orient fans who I remember were not too complimentary on our chances of reaching the top 7 :D In all seriousness, best of luck to all next season and in the play-offs for this!

Congratulations to Oxford and Bristol Rovers.
Shame about Accy, but it couldn't happen to a nicer bloke than that Scouse prat of a manager and his thug sidekicks.

What a bloody day. I have to echo the sentiments of Rovers fans elsewhere. Only seen us go up via playoffs before but a last day automatic spot beats it hands down. In about 15 years of following OUFC this has been my favourite team, and they've given us a hell of a season now it's all said and done.

Thanks for all the congratulations, chaps. Carver, I'll miss you next year old sport.

Stanley and Rovers were the best two teams I saw us play this year. If Accy can get over the disappointment then they should see it through.

Bloody hope we stay up.

Although Im gutted about being so close I must say well done to Oxford and Bristol Rovers. Its been a thrilling promotion race.
Our players just seemed to freeze today in the first half especially - we hit the bar 3 times in the second half but just couldn't score.
I was feeling very down at the final whistle but after having a few in the bar later Im now looking forward to the play off games...

You've 100% got the quality to do it, just depends on the morale etc. Seeing the fans at full time on the highlights reminded me how different a situation it was for you and Oxford, we kind of expected the play-offs and felt ready for it.

Best of luck Accy, will be watching with interest next week. Shame all four teams couldn't have gone up today, think that would have been fair.

Still can't believe it, I was sure we'd have to take our chances in the play off's.

With the exception of our finishing the players were superb yesterday. Handled the occasion brilliantly and had more goal attempts than in any other game this season.

Honestly didn't think the winner was coming though. We had some glorious chances, 35 shots and 17 corners but it looked like it was going to be one of those days.

Can't even begin to explain the euphoria when Brown slotted home the winner. However we couldn't celebrate properly until the final score came through from Accrington and that 5 minutes seemed to last forever.

With just 3 or 4 additions to the squad that finished 2nd in the Conference last year we've accumulated 85 points and won automatic promotion. Fantastic!

Congratulations to Oxford and best of luck to all those in the play off's. There are some good teams involved and it might just come down to who handles the pressure best. I'm quite looking forward to watching them on the box now.

Carver, I'll miss you next year old sport.

I may miss you too Tinpot if there are no other arrogant posters for me to hate on next season!

Oxford have been the true best team in this league and a lot of people recognise that, yes Northampton ran away with it but they are quite anti football and are really just an unfashionable plucky L2 team who had the most luck in games and they'll probably come back down here in 1 or 2 years whereas Oxford on the other hand have the potential to keep going forward!
