"that's neither true nor actually all that relevant."

Arsenal can't even attract Mkhitaryan over United. Who is a self confessed Arsenal fan, and would cost less than 30 million.

I don't see any other premier league side trying to sign them.
Don't be upset because Liverpool aren't shopping in the same stores as Arsenal anymore.

Yeah but that's only because footballers wives prefer London over Liverpool init.

So Liverpool expressing an interest means 'Pogba to Liverpool'?

Quick, express an interest in Troy Deeney!

Troy Deeney for £30m this game is well and truly fucked nearly as bad as the £35m we paid for AC

Will Watford give in please? £30m for a late twenties Striker, who could be easily replaced in terms of goals and work rate for anything like near that price.

We want our sell on!

It's the persistence I don't get. There has to be a point where you Bannatyne it. Showing you're a soft touch in negotiations hampers your other deals.

Leicester are clearly keen to spend - they had a 10 million bid for Michael Keane rejected too.

Would Deeney improve them that much (if at all) - that is what they must be aiming for really?

We'd take the money and run if he wasn't so important in terms of on the pitch and off it plus as I said before being our main goal scorer/leader.

With the Pozzos scouting system we probably could replace him with 2/3 strikers but our record on that front isn't great!

Looks like we are signing a guy called Isaac Success - maybe he is the replacement?

£30m for Deeney would make Carroll to Liverpool look like a shrewd bit of business.

The weird thing is that we are pulling out of deals where we think we're being taken for a ride. That's why we've eased off of Slimani and Musa. Yet we're still keen on Deeney! I think the idea that he'll link up with the group plays a large part in it as well, they want to sign players to match the team mentaility/ethic and that would probably seem easier with an English lad.
It'd be nice to see how he did before we branded it Andy Carroll territory though!

Vardy and Deeney would work well together. Both came from non-league, both had trouble with the law and you suspect that both are a bit twattish.

Are you low on homegrown players for the CL at all? And league obvs, needed a deeper squad?

A new 4 year deal for Vardy at Leicester then. Wegner to turn his attentions elsewhere.

Surprised at that, thought Arsenal might just be enough to sway him, but fair play for staying!

Slightly embarrassing for Arsenal not to land a target from Leicester?

Embarrasing for perrenial runners up to fail in taking a player from the CHAMPIONS????

We're big time charlies now mate, we throw fortunes at mid table clubs for average players. We're that fucking big, we don't care!

A £20mill buy out clause is a bit redundant really though anyway. If somebody goes in for him for £20mill a shitload of clubs are going to come in offering more. Nobody will get him for his clause which I think has already been sounded out as bullshit, but either way it doesn't matter.
Nobody will pay more than I buyout clause !, if multiple teams offer the price the player has a choice and it will be down to personal preference terms etc. Kante has a 22m buyout any team that offers that can speak to him and the club can do nothing about it, apart from offer him a new contract like they did with Vardy. The man is a god !
