We got linked the Callum Wright yesterday. Midfield player from Leicester, was on loan at Cheltenham last season.

Hopefully a Dewsbury-Hall 2.0 perhaps

I think John Swift is one of the best players in the division, personally. Top signing

Danny drinkwater and Gary Cahill on the radar…experienced and invaluable knowledge
Not seen this but, dont doubt they would be good players but need to be at the right wages for us. Also really feel we have enough "experience". Need to be injecting a bit of youth into the squad imo.

Bambo Diaby deal looks done, probably going to be my favourite player

With respect, both he and you are talking bollocks on this subject. The only players in this boat are Luke Berry, Danny Hylton and Robert Snodgrass. That's it. Berry I'd be frustrated to lose. Snodgrass has great quality but is getting another year older and can't do more than 35 games a season. Hylton shouldn't have been given a new deal in 2020.

Now in Summer 2023, we will have a bunch of players out of contract - maybe up to 20 players in that boat.

As for punching above our weight - indeed. Doesn't mean we don't have the right to compete in light of teams like, Bristol City who are losing £400,000 a week and have FFP breathing down their necks. And spending over 200% of turnover on wages?

As for Sonny Bradley going to Ipswich last summer - if a team in L1 wants to offer £8-10K a week for a player, good luck to them. We won't be doing that.

I think that play off finish has gone to your heads a bit. Had a gander at your forum and fcuk me, it’s like going back to the 90s…

If you mean outlaws then, as ever you are pointed toward the disclaimer at the top:

What you read on here is 100% conjecture, fiction, lies, bullshit and complete bollocks. If you want to be taken seriously, you are in the wrong place.

Its kind of got a bit of a unique character lets say for good and ill!!

Tough to know what peoples expectation is next season, I dont think its settled to an equilibrium yet after the P/O defeat and losing Naismith maybe has shaken some peoples belief. For me, staying up is the key thing, however we do that. Until we are out of our beloved Kenny we are not going to be consistently able to compete at this level imo.

Some things in life are just weird and seem set in stone. One of them is Luton ruffling feathers and often punching above their weight when left to their own devices. Another is Bristol City being shit ;-)....... for what they should be. Its just the way things roll. Im 56 and its always been that way.

Shocking amount of money pissed up the wall for nothing at all. Very frustrating for a huge and faithful fan base. Id suggest wuth their obv money they should be looking for better than Kal to improve and challenge.

I remember Gerry Gow. Scrapper. Im not trying to pick a fight. Just an observation. Id be very frustrated if i was a BCFC man. Good luck to Kal. Got a pay rise. He talking the talk as he should, so he is popular in his new home. Thats all.

Doesnt Drinkwater embody everything Jones hates. Prima donna, trouble maker, rabble rouser over acheiver living off his past? No thanks

Seems Kal didnt even have the decency to tell anyone at the Club he was signing elsewhere.

He literally said ‘previous club’ and couldn’t wait to get his done as soon as the play offs were done.

Didn’t even have the decency to name you. Shithole I know but that’s harsh…

The fact it came out of totally left field to basically everyone, not even a hint of a rumour and suddenly got announced clearly to our total surprise, reading between the lines and perhaps taking a few jumps - seems to me it was a “offer that can’t be refused” type situation and when he’s seen the offer he’s gone “where do sign” it was that good for him. If so fair play, I can’t begrudge him that.

Few of our fans have got annoyed at the interview but it’s all just fluff stuff that all players say when they join a new club.

Looking at his history, he makes the most of sign on fees and moving around. He never stays anywhere longer than 2-3 years and presumably has never signed a contract extension anywhere! Seems as if he wanted to rush it through to go on holiday, which is certainly his prerogative. It sounds as if Luton didn’t really get much of a chance to talk to him.

We're supposed to be trying to sign Benjamin Siegrist who has rejected terms at Dundee. Swiss keeper, well rated up there, but it's Scotland... Would be coming is as number 2, first choice will be a loan.

We're still interested in Andre Gray too.

Big Bambo has signed his 2 year deal. I'm quietly confident he'll be a decent piece of business but he'll probably need a lot of management.

We released Ethan Walker and he's signed for Blackburn's development team. Good luck to him but I'd be surprised if he's another Dolan.

Naby Sarr has left Huddersfield. I’m quite surprised about that.

Seems we could be one of the clubs in for Marlon Fossey from Fulham, Yank RWB, recently been on loan at Bolton. Cool Afro.

No real link other than a Bolton fan on Twitter, but supposedly there's quite a bit of Championship interest. Injuries would be a bit of a concern for me.

Quality in lge1 as a RWB would not fit into a back four
played around 8 games for Shrewsbury on loan..... cut short knee injury....Played 20 or so games for us the same loan cut short
Three championship clubs interested in him the rumour has it.
We agreed a 200k fee with Fulham January but it seems he is being hawked around

Hmm, gut feeling is we should swerve, sick of signing players with a history of injuries.

Both Luton and Preston are in for Antonios Papadoupoulos from Borussia Dortmund - in a deal worth €1.5M.

Is that Twitter account reliable?

Seems Andre Gray will be our first signing of the season. Pretty happy with him as a rotation option if it gets confirmed.

Its a position we could use and i hope we have a solid young ish DM on our want list. Esp if hes versatile. Swashbuckling LWB and a striker if we dont think CMG or Admiral will kick on. Obv a keeper and maybe a loan keeper too.

Not sure what space we have for now tho and thats based on todays squad and there will likely be movement

Linked with Matt Macey. Had him before on loan and to be honest was not at all impressed with him, although he was better than Stuart Moore who we had that same season, which doenst say too much actually.

Really hope that one isn't a goer or at best he is being brought in as the backup keeper thats needed.
