Skelton it seems has given the players licence to play, lots of quick passing and attacking from us and we are creating things but just no organisation at all, too easy for Newport going forward and add the game goes on they're getting the hang of defending against us and we're creating less.

That’s a terrible penalty from Hawkins. Right where a keeper would want it. Very soft penalty to give it must be said.

Very audible on the iFollow stream the way Mansfield fans are getting at their own players. Truth be told they’ve played well and will be wondering how they’re trailing.

Been a while since I have seen such a low quality game of football, felt like I was watching two sunday league sides play.

We're normally significantly worse in the 2nd half (apart from the Harrogate game as that was impossible), Barrow will saunter towards a victory still

Penalty apiece at Harrogate. Both team defending solidly, and both have had spells on top, but Harrogate look slightly more dangerous I'd say. Muldoon in particular is a real PITA, and they're winning most of the aerial battles.

Absolutely no idea what the Harrogate penalty was for.

Worst half we’ve produced and missing Procs holding it up down the other end. We’ve looked slow and lethargic and they look right up for it which I imagine DC won’t be happy about it.

Great strike from Conlon, fancied him from there and been more settled since the goal. Penalty seemed soft, considering this referee didn’t give Pope a penalty at Grimsby for being rugby tackled last season! Great save by Covolan… he still looks dodgy though with some of his clearances.

Need to up it second half!

Much improved from Pools tonight, good line-up as well. Cullen starts and does what a no.9 does and bundles shit in around the 6 yard box.. Molyneux close to 2-0 but Bradford have had a couple of decent chances. Fans are on their back but I don't think they've been that bad.

Well, we were both brilliant and awful in that half. The goal was one of the best team goals you'll see in this division this season, and some of our build up play early on was very good. When it came to midfield and defending though we were woeful left far too much space, defenders all over the place and couldn't clear our lines. Newport regrouped and our fancy attacking passing play was getting snuffed out and Newport kept exploiting our weaknesses. Two good goals from them but helped in part by the amount of space we were leaving and with the free kicks we have away they really could have been out of sight.

I think Bradford have been pretty ordinary, but I've seen a lot worse this season.

Awful first half from us, we looked like the team near the bottom. In fairness Mansfield have been out of the blocks sharply from kick off. I knew it was bullshit that they were a 'poor side ' so I never paid attention to comments from Mansfield fans.

The only bit of quality came from our best player. Never a penalty, so justice served there. We surely can't be as bad in the second half, Clarke will be fuming I'd imagine. Prides his sides on work rate and Mansfield have worked harder than us.
