Strevens off for Eastleigh for spitting?

Eastleigh fans, and team a disgrace. Fans trying to start fights with our players and their players trying to start fights with anyone. Joke club.

"We know what we are. We know what we are. We're fucking spoilt. We know what we are" brilliant.
We were all laughing singing it to be honest, as with the 'Hursty whats the score' chant later on.
Despite the score I thought Nolan played superb today, always running at defenders and ran himself into the ground, on the flip side Toto Nsiala 1st half........ :ffs:

Hurst has just said that a Grimsby player, I'm assuming Nsiala, was racially abused by a fan after the full-time whistle.

I can see why Eastleigh lose so often, and also why fans on here get so frustrated playing against them. They offered little threat going forward as well.

Good win for us, best team won. Cheltenham looking increasingly solid, I can't see them slipping up. Grimsby have utterly bottled it, wouldn't surprise me if they dropped out the play offs. Conceding a goal against Halifax is rare, but conceding 4? Wow things must be wrong there.

To clarify before certain people cream themselves. It was by his own supporters.

One of the most comfortable wins ever seen. Should have been a lot more. Other sides again losing to give us false hope for play offs..

Again we have managed to pick up 3 points. I'm starting to think we might nick 5th place now.
The Aldershot fans who were trying to fight amongst themselves/ having ago at the stewards was an amusing thing to witness also.

Bogle has been tweeting cryptically before deleting them.

They appear to suggest players have been slating Hurst behind his back. So today he decided to pipe up to a dressing room of silence with not one voice backing him up.

Think Hursts days are numbered.

Pretty scrappy from us and I'd have subbed Parkin before his two goals which shows what I know.
Nice to see Kelly back but hope Jennings is ok, though Kelly looked a bit rusty I thought.
Eastleigh all right going forward without being a massive threat, shakier than us at the back and so the late pressure told.

To be honest (I'm not talking about the alleged racism here) is it any surprise the fans played up today.

Last week the manager told us we'd been 'spoilt' despite not having seen a promotion in 18 years and a week later 1,700 of them watch us get twatted by a side in the relegation zone.

Great to see the injured lads Downes, Pell and Morgan-Smith sitting with the fans today, starting and joining in with the songs. Brilliant atmosphere around the club, it's a joy to support this team at the moment.

Do any Halifax fans know why the guy who got your 3rd ran in front of our fans gesturing to wind them up?
Didn't know if maybe he got some abuse at Blundell Park in the return fixture or else I couldn't understand why he did it.

Tbh, I saw his comment as meaning that considering some performances earlier in the season (multiple 4-1s, 4-0, 5-0, 7-0), the fans reaction to drawing a game 0-0 was outrageous, he just said it very poorly.

The mass hysteria to today's game from the fans, Toto and Bogle shows exactly why opposition laugh at us.

Tough battle in the Alty quagmire today . The Alty ground staff did well to get the game on, it must have been a very close call for the ref. Both teams deserve credit for an entertaining, end to end game. A draw was a fair result overall i think, a thunderbastard of a strike from Rankin for tge opening goal. Smith hit the post for Guiseley.
Second half continued in the same vain, both teams going for the win. The Guiseley equaliser came from a Smith right wing cross to the back post which Rob Atkinson happily forced over the line. Alty managed to thunder a shot against the crossbar when it looked easier to pass it into the Guiseley net? Strange decision that one!

It's an indictment of the shitness of the league that we are 6th, we are awful. Though we've played loads of games more than most.

An exaggeration on both fronts.

We are inconsistent and there are a couple of clubs behind us who could overtake us if they win games in hand. Play offs are still unlikely.

Heard coming out the ground that the Eastleigh player was sent off for spitting. Silly boy.

Yeah was wondering what it was for .. assumed he had said something uncomplimentary to the ref. But the Eastleigh fans (granted only a handful) swarming around that corner screaming bile, didn't help their own players one bit, the vitriol clearly rubbed off on their players who lost it one after another in a crazy 1min.

Love to see Parkins 1st goal as he looked about 2 yards offside but it was a cracking finish. Less said about the 2nd goal the better, couldn't tell whether it went in off his belly or his arse, but he'll take it.

Alfreton 1-1 Corby(Jordan 19, Milnes 90)

A case of first half missed chances costing us today. We were terrible second half and gifted them a point in the end. We looked lethargic and stale. Jones and Leesley both looked off it. You could see it coming. We couldnt string two passes together in the last 25 minutes.

We all over them first half. Should have been 2 to 3 up in all honesty. Jamie Jackson was the most lively player in a Reds shirt once again. He really should have made it 2-0 on 25. Firing wide from 5 yards with the goal gaping. It was an unlikely source who did score though with Todd Jordan picking up his first for the club.

Our faint hope of the play-offs have all but gone. Seems like everyone at the club has began to look towards next season too.

Anyway were are still 12 unbeaten although today felt like a defeat in all honesty

Even odder as the lino running the west side seemed to be flagging for everything for about half an hour with zero regard for your actual laws of football.

Well if it was off his belly, then FGRJC's post is proved in a nutshell......!

It could be just a morale thing, perhaps Grimsby have accepted the fact they have little chance of winning auto promotion, due to Cheltenham's inability to drop points, and we all know the title was their main aim this year.

Or just a case of having a bad day at the office. They'll probably score 3 or 4 in their next game.
They certainly will. They're playing us next.
