Palace have bid for Mangala.

Must be getting desperate.

Interesting. I imagine he'd be best as an edge of the box defender in the mould of Sakho. He can pass as well but whether he can cut out the lapses in concentration and poor decision making remains to be seen. Maybe defending deep is where he'd excel though as it's more instinctive. This is if De Boer puts a bit of personal pride aside and realises that he's managing Crystal Palace and not Ajax.

Chelsea must be a bit peeved to lose out on 2 players they wanted to rival clubs?

As I said earlier in the thread, I'm not a massive fan of Oxlade-Chamberlain. But fair play to him, not only has he written off £60k a week from Arsenal to join Liverpool, he also turned down Chelsea who no doubt would have at least matched what Arsenal had on the table. It goes to show there is still some ambition in certain players to do what they feel is better for their career rather than chase the money, and he deserves a lot of credit for that. How many players would deliberately lose over £3m a year just to increase the chances of playing in their preferred position? I hope he doesn't live to regret it as I'm still skeptical he will be a first choice in any position on the pitch, let alone CM.

Regardless, it's good for football. I'm hoping to see more of it in future but I won't hold my breath. O-C is very much the exception rather than the rule.

This isn't a thing. Don't try to make this a thing.

Infinitely better than OX and shorter than Oxlade-Chamberlain. I suppose OC is an option too.

Ox will succeed at Liverpool. He's got it. He just needs a manager to put his arm round him and guide him. Klopp is perfect for that

Finally done. Llorente in as a back up for Kane should be done soon with Bony on his way to Swansea.

I wonder if that's us done for the day now.

Aurier is a cracking player. Spurs have done very good business there from a playing point of view. Now you've just got to hope he doesn't do anything stupid.

Everton looking to take Perez from Arsenal on loan for the season. Think that would be a very good deal for Everton. Never really understood why he never got more playing time at Arsenal.

I've only seen him 2 or 3 times and each time he's been one of the worst players on the pitch. Fortunately he should be in an attacking role for us so maybe that'll play to his strengths.

On the flip side I've seen him a few times and he's looked unplayable, he's definitely a good signing especially for 20 odd million.

"After six years, three FA Cup wins and countless incredible memories, the time has come for me to move on from Arsenal. I want to publicly thank Arsene, the coaching and club staff and my amazing team mates for all of the incredible opportunities I have been given. Thank you so much to you, the fans, who have always had my back - I honestly couldn't be more grateful. The club, and my time here, will always mean a massive amount to me. I know my choice might come as a surprise to many, and the decision to leave was tough after being a part of the club for so many years, but I feel that this move is right for the next stage in my ongoing development."

Looks like it's done.

Losing Llorente but gaining Bony. Happy with that. I've no doubt he'll rediscover his form now he's come back home.

Why are Huddersfield allowing Wells to go?

Krul to Brighton on loan. We're after Targett on loan, the deal for the Argentinian fella must have fell through.

Apparently agreed a fee with Torino for Zappacosta

Right wing back but no idea other than that. Don't know if he's an improvement or backup for Moses.

BBC reckon the fee for OC is £35m. Given the ridiculous prices doing the rounds, that's a decent amount if true.

Origi on loan to Wolfsburg confirmed. Good move, I like the lad but he needs game time.

Yep I said it yesterday, he looked a real talent when first signed by Arsenal but hasn't progressed as they don't get coached well there. At Liverpool he will do and will improve. Delighted to have him. If they somehow get VVD and Lemar done as well it will be a hell of a window and puts Liverpool a step closer to a title challenge imo. If they don't get those deals done then at least we'll be fucking exciting at the minimum.

Coutinho definitely staying then. You've had your little strop Phillipe, time to overcome that back pain inducing stress and get back to work.
Aye I thought if they got Lemar then Coutinho could fuck off without a shrug by the fans. If he doesn't come which is looking increasingly likely, then Coutinho definitely stays imo.

Despite being 24, I still think there is alot of potential there and I'm glad we signed him. He can play a number of positions and we needed strengthening.

But we just paid 35m - 40m for a decent player with only a year left on his contract. Lets not pretend we didn't just get our pants pulled down.

Leicester reject 27m from us for Gray.

Mental for us to offer, mental for them to reject. Please leave it there.
We're not gonna let Gray go if Mahrez is off.
